I actually think the beds and pillows here are more comfortable than the ones I have at home. I’m jealous. I’m not sure I’ve ever gotten such a good night’s sleep. Everything is very clean. The staff here are wonderful. Very friendly and very helpful. They have fresh filtered drinking water available for you to fill your containers. The breakfast buffet is great with lots of variety and you can have eggs cooked any way you like them. The location is a little up hill in a very narrow street which I like the extra walk but it may be too much for some people. It’s quiet as it’s away from the main square. I would definitely stay here again and recommend friends and family stay here too.

My boyfriend & i stayed here for a couple nights & never wanted to leave!! Every little thing was perfect. The atmosphere, staff, food... all of it! One day we actually ate all 3 meals here because the servers were so nice to be around (& remembered our names) & the food was also THAT good! (i highly recommend the pumpkin or quinoa soup). totally a cusco hidden gem- im not sure if we ever plan on returning to cusco, but if we do we, we know exactly where we’ll stay! thank you casa san blas

When we came to our 10 day tour of Peru, 3 nights were to be spent in Cusco. The first was to adjust to the altitude. The second was a tour of Cusco, and the last day was when we came back from the Inca Trail. The hotel is so neat in appearance. Its an old house converted to a rustic hotel. Each room is so different! The beds are comfortable, and in the evening they bring you a warm bag thing to put under your sheets to keep your feet warm! It was awesome. They knew we were there for our honeymoon, so they left us a tray of fruit and a note congratulating us.

Major pros: comfortable beds, great private bathrooms, amazing water pressure and tons of hot water. the lobby is stocked with drinks for free, hot tea, coca tea, and purified water for us more sensitive bellied guests.

Small cons: though we are so use to American hotels, it was hard to get past the amount of noise you can hear. It feels more like you are staying at a friends house, as you hear everything outside your door. And...let's just say when its your honeymoon..knowing everyone can HEAR you too...not exactly stellar! LOL The only other small con is that on day 10 when we came back from the Inca Trail I caught a NASTY stomach bug somewhere along the line. We asked if we could stay in the hotel until our pickup at 2:45 and they said they could only accommodate us until 11 am. I ended up having to lay on their lobby couches and using their public restroom while super sick in the tummy. Not their fault, so I understood to some degree, but no one checked in while we laid on those couches so I felt we could've potentially been accommodated a bit better. But...I also don't expect them to have to accommodate us, it was just rough laying out in the open like that. The joys of traveling to foreign lands!!

THE BREAKFAST is awesome here! The lady that runs it is incredibly accommodating and so sweet. We loved all of the fruit, cereal. bread, and pancake options they provided us.

They also stored 3 bags for us at NO charge during our inca trail trek, so that was really awesome too!

Overall good experience!

Dear jenny:
Thank you so much for choosing Cusco as your travel destination and Casa San Blas Boutique as your hotel during your stay.
We are so sorry to know that you had noice in your room. We are in the middle of a project to replace the windows for hemetic ones to avoid noice. We expect to finish the project by the end of the year.
At Casa San Blas Boutique we try to pleased our guests as much as possible and if there is any way to provide a late check-out (free of cahrge) we do it if we have the availabiity. When the hotel is fully booked we can manage the situation only according to the arrival times we have from the guests. If no one arrived to your former room while you still were at the hotel, might be due to a flight delay that is out of our control. We are so sorry for that.
We are glad to know that overall you hada a nice stay and wish you the best in your marriage.
Warm regards,

We found this hotel to be in a good location as we were able to walk to some of the main areas of Cusco. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very helpful when I was unwell and allowed a very late check out and even went and bought a re hydration drink at no extra charge.

We stayed at this hotel last week before and after trekking the Inca Trail. This is a small hotel that is very close to the downtown retail area. The customer service was top notch and I loved that they put a hot water bottle in the bed for us before bedtime (Who does that?) They also stepped up when Fred accidentally left his backpack at the hotel. They put it in a taxi and delivered it to us at the airport in time for us to make the flight. We would definitely stay there again!
