We stayed a few days prior to Inca trek & again on our return & were very pleased with everything in the hotel although the reception was of concern to us prior to our final stay.
Just before the trek we checked that we had a booking to return to since we had done this on 2 separate orders through Hotels.com. Whilst we had the email confirmation, the booking did not appear in their system. 2 different receptionists told us "not to worry - it will be sorted" but also confirmed that the hotel was also fully booked.
We left for the trek & returned in anticipation - we had a room, so not sure what exactly had happened but pleased it was sorted.
The rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds & nice bathrooms with good showers. Tea & purified water is available 24hrs.
Breakfast was excellent.
Location was approx 5mins walk downhill to the main square - but then obviously to come back is up a steep hill so maybe not too good for the less able. Many restaurants very close to the hotel.
Be aware the hotel is just off a very narrow road that anything larger than a small car will not be able to get down so a mini-bus needs to drop you at the bottom of this hill & you walk up - possibly with heavy cases.More
