The hostel was good, the rooms clean, the location great and the breakfast included. Unfortunately the stuff was a little weird, as they gave us different information on different days. Sometimes the 3 bed room was 70 soles, sometimes it was a lot more expensive (when we came back from a tour). We booked a tour over the hostel and asked, what the meal would be (due to allergies) and she promised to ask the tour operator and tell me later. At 9.00 o'clock at night I asked about the meal and she said she didn't know, it changes every day. She recommended me to bring my own food. At 9.00 o'clock at night!? Then we had some troubles with the (hot) water, sometimes there was hot water, sometimes there was no water at all. When we asked why there was no water we were told this was normal and had been like this for weeks. Apparently there was no water after 10.00 p.m. as Cusco ran short of water. This obviously was a lie, as we had already spent about a week in Cusco and this was the first time we had no water after 10.00 p.m. Even when we told him this he insisted on his statement.
