“Lovely hotel in good location”
Reviewed 5 April 2014 via mobile

We stayed in this hotel a couple of days either side of our trip with World Expeditions to Machu Picchu. It is a very attractive looking hotel built around a courtyard garden, comfortable, well located and the staff are all lovely.
Highly recommended!

I'm so happy that our group stayed at Casa Andina Classic in Cusco San Blas, the accommodations were great, rooms were spacious, staff was so helpful, friendly and polite. The location was perfect, close to the main plaza square and all the market shopping, we were able to walk everywhere for shopping and restaurants. We fell in love with Cusco, and were really glad to call this place home for a week. I highly recommend this hotel! If I find myself in Cusco again, and I hope I do, I'll be staying at Casa Andina! Thanks again!

So glad I stumbled on the Casa Andina line of hotels in Peru.

Since we were traveling around the country a little, and then spending a few days in Cusco before and after our Machu Picchu hike, we opted for the slightly cheaper of the two Casa Andinas in Cusco ... without regret.

The hotel was about 5 minutes walk from the main square, and up an impossibly narrow street, which always made walking down it quite the adventure. In fact if we'd stayed any closer to the square, it would have been boring without the fun walks to and from the square. I could have stayed in this city another 2 weeks and still not seen all the delights the old city offered in all it's back streets and alleys.

The hotel itself: Front desk staff friendly and helpful. They bent over backwards to solve an issue we had with an extended booking. Coca tea is available 24/7 in the lobby, as well as oxygen for those looking a little green in the gills from the altitude.

Breakfast is served in a special room off the courtyard, with a fireplace (which wasn't working one of the mornings so it was quite cold, and when I lodged a request at the front desk, they did everything they could in the absence of firewood to get some sort of fire going from an alternative combustible medium!). The food selection was more than adequate.

We stayed here 3 separate times during our Peru trip, and had 3 different rooms, all of them charming and facing the valley. Some rooms face the courtyard instead, so if you want a room with a view, ask.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking Cusco.

We stayed in at this hotel in January 2014. We really liked the hotel. The staff were great and very friendly. The location was super and we highly enjoyed our time in Cusco. The free shuttle from the airport was a welcome surprise! I would recommend anyone to stay here.

A very beautiful hotel is located a few blocks from the main square. Is calmer, has its own central green space. Not far from the train station and principal tourist attractions.
We got a very family environment. Our rooms were all like, just as all the staff was very kind to us

This place is great for the price. The breakfast buffet leaves a little to be desired, but the rooms and service are good. The hotel's location is close to food, the center plaza, and shopping, and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Would recommend this hotel to those looking for a nice place for a good price.
