This hotel is located almost 4 short blocks from the major square so it is pretty useful to stay in there. And at the same time, it is located on a street that takes you to the major square that has the largest number of local pizzerias, pubs, small restaurants, cafes and whatever you might like to eat nice and cozy for the cold-clean weather.

Room Tip: mine was ok

Stayed at Casa Andina San Blas a total of 5 nights before and after our Inca Trail trek. Really liked the location of this hotel. Only a short walk to Plaza de Armas, but much quieter than being right in the midst of it all. The rooms were quite adequate and clean. The breakfast buffet was good as well. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Overall, we were very pleased, thought the hotel had a decent price point, and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing flashy, but nice clean rooms. The breakfast was fine - nothing amazing, but everyone at the hotel is really nice. Very pretty neighborhood and easy for walking everywhere. The rooms high up in the main building are really nice.

Room Tip: Room 501 is amazing! Huge room with couches, great view, and big bathroom.

We checked in to the Casa Andina Classic after bad one day experience Lima. We were sleep-deprived and in need of some rest. We were given a room on the first floor, right next to all the foot traffic. When the man at the desk gave us the keys and explained where to go, I about broke down after our stressful night in Lima of no sleep due to a high floor with no air and bands playing outside of our window all night. The kind man at the desk seemed to sense my stress and utter exhaustion and upgraded our room to the third floor so that I could simply get some rest. He did not have to do this and we cannot express how grateful we were for his gesture of going above and beyond. This was the first of many positive customer service experiences we had at this hotel.

Our hotel had a wonderful view of Cusco! It is in a great location - you do have to walk to get to the shops and restaurants. It is not a bad walk at all, it's just down a hill, which is nice, but it's the uphill on the return that can be a little difficult.

We stayed two nights before our excursions to Machu Picchu and the Amazon and once on the return and we were very pleased with our stays. The rooms are a little outdated, but for the price, it is something that can easily be overlooked and we did not mind at all.

We hope to return to Cusco at some point and we would stay here again!

Room Tip: It is worth it to pay for the upgrade to a better room from the standard room.

This is a centrally located hotel that has great ambiance. It's very clean (and safe). The staff provide exceptional service. They went out of their way to help my friend and I with an issue, and it took quite some time to figure out a solution. A great value and I would highly recommend it.
