Enjoyed our brief stay at Casa Andina Private Collection. The hotel staff, Roosevelt and the dining room staff, Juan Carlos were professional, friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had some noise issues with our first room (nearby construction at 7AM.) The manager, Christian, immediately moved us, upgrading our room to a suite and gave us dinner at the hotel restaurant... carte blanche. Classy guy. (The other, not-so-polished desk staff should take a page from his book.) The meal was outstanding. Definitely have dinner at the restaurant.

Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious and the waitstaff were efficient and friendly.

The rooms have great bones; cool balcony window/doors, plastered walls and ceilings with interesting angles and beams, but the decor needs a bit of an update. The public spaces are beautiful, with an intimate and authentic feel. Rooms are arranged around different courtyards, each with a fountain and outdoor seating.

On the morning of our checkout I was suffering from dehydration from some bad food I ate the night before. Combined with the thin air, the dehydration made me quite sick. Once again, Christian went above and beyond, providing me with unlimited oxygen (apparently they charge for oxygen charge after a set amount of time) and a room to lay down in until our transfer to the airport. This guy knows how to treat a customer.

My wife stayed for several days at the Casa Andina Classic Cusco Koricancha and noted the wonderful upscale restaurant that seemed to be a part of our hotel. We went to the restaurant, which turned out in the end, to be the Casa Andina Private Collection Cusco. The food and wine menus are very upscale with excellent dishes. I had the Risotto and my wife had the Tuna Steak. Both were wonderful and so were the deserts. When we paid, we asked that the charge be billed to our room. After some discussion, this was accepted and as we were leaving, we asked if we could go direct to our room rather than have to walk on the street as we did to get there. We went to our room and discovered that this was obviously not the same hotel as the Casa Andina Classic where we were staying. It is in the same building but in another part. After getting everything squared away, we paid and everyone had a big laugh. But, the staff were excellent and the food was excellent. We will return there for dinner on our return from Machu Picchu!

We were there four nights and had two separate rooms and each was large, spotlessly clean, and well appointed.

The staff was as friendly as any hotel we have visited and could not do enough for you. They made you feel at home and the hotel was located in a wonderful spot in Cusco fairly close to San Blas and the main square. We never had to take a cab anywhere. We highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Casa Andina Private Collection, and we were not disappointed. The staff were most gracious, kind and helpful, from reception desk to room service. After a busy day of travel to Machu Picchu, we were happy to arrive in our beautiful Andean Suite, room 209 which overlooks the Plaza Chico, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. The rooms are beautifully appointed with local Peruvian touches, and all the amneities one would expect from a fine hotel . Room service was great, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and it was lovely to dine in the courtyard, Manager Christian and his staff do a fabulous job!!!

The complete hotel. Excellent food, location, and rooms, but the best part of the stay was the Hotel Staff.

While at Cusco my wife became ill with headaches from the altitude. The Hotel Staff responded by providing oxygen and personal attention. Ms Ochoa, and the staff checked frequently and provided any requests my wife made. This unusual touch helped to make an uncomfortable situation more bearable.

As if this service wasn't enough, the Hotel Manager, Chrisitan Salinas followed up
periodicly assuring us of a pleasant stay.

We left Cusco and Peru planning our next trip back......soon.

Thank You

Clay Simmons

My wife and I stayed here for one night after we returned from Machu Picchu. We were told by many tour operators that this was a great hotel. We didn't arrive to the hotel until around 8pm. We were very pleased with the room amenties, however the rooms are extremely small. The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom very nice, and a great flat panel tv hanging on the wall. That is the highlight of the stay. The staff is TERRIBLE. I would not stay here again because of the staff and the layout of the rooms. We had an extremely far and winding walk to our room. The front desk staff took 1 hour to get our passports back to us after checking in. We finally decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED for Cusco. We ordered food and waited 45 minutes before getting up and leaving the restaurant. There was only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant. They kept telling us our food would be just a few more minutes. The hotel isn't as close to the square as they advertise. Be Aware of this terrible staff.
