Great location, nice hotel BUT:
All the rooms, beside one are looking to the hotel yard and they cover the terrace with glass so basically you don't have a window! It is impossible to have fresh air in the room and it could get quite annoying because anyhow you don't have enough air in cuzco but the hotel room is stuffy and hot.
The room that is overlooking the street is perfect and I recommend it!
The restaurant in the hotel is not the best. We have tried same dishes in other Casa Andinas and they were far better.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for sharing your experience with thousands of travelers that visit Trip Advisor’s web site every day.

We should mention that we have done all the work needed for guest accommodation without altering the hotel’s architectural beauty and value, today settled on a renovated 18th-century manor house.

However, we should mention that we have received positive results from a ventilation improvement project and that we have already started remodeling some of the rooms located on the first floor of our hotel. We are sure our guests will value this improvement.

We truly appreciate your feedback and the opportunity it gives us for improvement. We sincerely hope to have you with us again in the near future to provide you the real Casa Andina experience.

Kind regards,

The Casa Andina Team

My 3 friends and I stayed here for 3 nights in August of 2010. We have traveled quite a bit in "third world" countries, and these were the nicest accommodations we've experienced. Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast included with lots of variety, bottled water in the rooms, internet access in the lobby, and a beautiful interior.

A great hotel and very different. There are small courtyards interspersed throughout the hotel with halls and corridors snaking throughout. It's very elegant but with a mysterious charm to it all. We had breakfast every morning in the main courtyard! It is all very private.
The bar is very nice with a sitting room with a big fireplace or (if it is warm enough) you can enjoy a drink in one of the courtyards.
It's about a 10 minute walk to the main square in Cusco

Casa Andina P.C. is probably one of the best hotel in Cuzco. The setting is incredibly nice, with patios, courts and the rooms all around them. The staff is great, very helpfull and really professional. Breakfast is very good, with a buffet with a lot of sweets, cheese, hams and a cook ready to set-up eggs as you like them.
The rooms are a bit small and dated, but confortable and with all necessary amenities.

We stayed for four nights.........excellent! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The building is stunning with courtyards and fountains. The breakfast was fantastic, everything you could hope for also in the bar in the evening the Tapas was amazing washed down with a Pisco Sour....
The location is perfect for sight seeing, only a short walk to the centre and all the Churches.
If you are offered this hotel to stay, don't hesitate it's wonderful.

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our hike in the Andes and 1 night at the end of the trek. It was part of our package from REI, so we did not select the hotel. To our surprise, the hotel was fantastic. Our one objection was that our room on the last night was on the small side, but adequate. The location is convenient and quiet.

We just returned from a vacation in Peru and, after visiting Machu Picchu, we stayed 3 nights at the Casa Andina Private Collection in Cuzco. Our room was very, very spacious with 2 decks overlooking the plaza, and the mountains in the distance. The view was so great that each morning and evening we pulled chairs from our room onto one of the the decks and just sat there taking in the activity and culture below. It appeared that we were just as amusing to them as they were interesting to us! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful from the time we pulled up in front until we checked out. The food was good and the concierge staff, both Valeria and Jesus were very helpful. When a Farmers' Strike shut down Peru Rail and caused our rail trip to Lake Titicaca to be cancelled, the Hotel Manager helped us to notify the Casa Andina Hotel in that area that we would not be coming, and then arranged for our deposits to be transferred to the Cuzco Casa Andina. Had we not been using the Casa Andina chain exclusively in Peru, we might have lost that money. Then Valeria helped us with documents we needed to get our refund from Peru Rail. We enjoyed our stay in Cuzco so much, who needs Lake Titicaca!
