The hotel is not located well...it is far from most things you would like to do. While it appears initially charming there are significant issues with the hotel. a) there are no locks on the doors b) my door handle was falling off c) there was no safe in the room to store valuables d) there was no TV remote e) there was no hot water in the sink f) there was no plug for the sink g) in spite of the fact that the hotel advertizes a restaurant and the front desk staff refer to one, there is no restaurant of any kind on the premises. There is a room with metal tables and chairs at which one could eat if there were food available. As a result, we had order food from take outs in the area - and we all got sick as a result.
I would not recommend staying here.

Stayed with intrepid. Rooms are huge. Nice beds. Good pillows. Cable TV. Heater provided. Big shower. Nice garden courtyard. Fried egg or scrambled, great coffee, cheese, jam, bread, juice, fruit at breakfast. Free wifi. Tour guide can arrange cheap laundry service. Very narrow street at the back to access the hotel from town where you need to walk carefully to make sure you don't get clipped by traffic. Shops and restaurants near by. Good service.

Loved this place! Staff is very nice and the breakfast was awesome. The place is comfortable and super clean. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the center of town and is surrounded by some good restaurants.

We went to the pizza place up the street for some good cheap brick oven pizza and "go bananas" for some nice fresh juices and crepes...Check them out if u have time

It's located in Cusco Peru within a short walking distance to all the local attractions and restaurants. The streets are narrow in Cusco. Which made for a challenge arriving and departing because the traffic is one way on the street it is located on. Traffic would get backed up and the drivers would get impatient and start blowing their horns. I found this to be annoying. Plus you have to be careful not to get hit by traffic due to the width of the streets.
We stayed here two times during our trip. I found the Hostel to be clean. It is a lot bigger inside than you would think. There are two courtyards inside that are open to the air. The rooms have wood floors, comfortable beds, lots of light with brightly colored decor. They serve complimentary breakfast, which consisted of coffee or tea, avocado, bread, cheese, and eggs. I think this is a fairly typical breakfast. Both of our rooms had good views of Cusco. They also held our luggage for us during our three day trek to Machu Picchu. Which was not cost to us, safe, and helpful.
We had three people in our party. They only provided two towels and two glasses. Which I found to be frustrating. Plus, if you are not pretty fluent in Spanish it makes for a challenge communicating with most of the staff. The reason I bring this up is because it put a glitch in one of our planned trips. We asked the night desk clerk if the tour company left information for us regarding the next day. He knew very little English and we tried out best to communicate in Spanish. We were not able to find out any information from him because of the language barrier. We did not get the message from the tour company of a time change for our departure. This lead to an abrupt phone call at 6am telling us we needed to leave at 6:30 to catch our bus at 7am. We missed breakfast, had to shove our belongings in our suite cases, and did not get a shower that morning. It was very frustrating. Trust me, the tour company is very aware of what happened.
Overall, I really liked this hostel and would recommend it to anyone.

Just 10 minutes from the center, the service is excellent, the rooms are clean and cozy. The breakfast is awesome, food is fresh and tasty. If I ever go back to Cusco, I would go to inkarri without any doubt.

staff was friendly. rooms are nice and clean, and there is hot water.
The service was excellent, people at the front desk are very friendly and helpful.
While the breakfast service is nice a buffet would be more pragmatic, currently they serve some bread and yogurt which may be different from what you really would like to have.
The location of the Hotel is in a narrow street which makes it somewhat dangerous to pass.
The route described to the city center by the hotel reception isn't the safest. Cars rush by in less than a few centimeter distance. When you are waiting for a taxi there is hardly time to get in and out because cars will start queuing up immediately.
