the "+" - the place is very clean and the owner treat us very well. We could let our luggage for free during our 4 days trek to Machu Picchu. The location is 10 min walking from main square.

the "-" the windows open to the interior of the building, so you can not really aerate your room. The rooms are not well isolated so it can be quite noisy. Specially the first three nights we were having a room at the ground floor, so we could hear each ring bell, doors closing, our neighbors taking shower.
The breakfast is quite poor

I didn't actually get to stay at this place, even though I had a confirmed reservation through the booking website.

A week before we left on our trip I got an email from the staff asking that I cancel my booking as all other bookings in front of me had been reconfirmed and mine was no longer valid. What?!? I had a confirmed booking, and there's no suggestion that anything needs to be reconfirmed.

Sure they told me in advance, but what's the point of a confirmed booking if it's not honoured?

There's no suggestion that bookings have to be reconfirmed at any point.

I sent an email back trying to get more information, but the same nonsense was sent again. The booking website I used called the place, and they repeated the same thing again.

Offered to find us another hotel, but what chance that the booking would be any good when I get there?

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere that honours their confirmed bookings.

Located in the district of San Blas, this hotel has a really good location where it only takes about 10 mins walk to the armor square, staff members are very nice, they speak decent english that you dont have any trouble during communication. The room was very confy and spacious.

I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to stay in cusco!

Room Tip: both room we have stayed are very good!

I stayed here with two other friends in May while we say the main attractions in Peru. We loved it and used it as a base to travel to different places around Cusco. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the showers are great. The host, Elizabeth, is very helpful and accommodating and took such good care of us. She allowed us to leave our luggage with her on several occasions when we left town and was always around to help if we needed anything. It was definitely one of the best places we stayed during our trip around South America and we would definitely go back there. I highly recommend it!

What a neat hidden gem! It's a little tricky to find but we'll worth it. There is a security guard who takes care of the street, look out for his booth and he will take you there. The place is very secure and modern, yet inviting. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. We were greeted with coca tea and given a map with specific directions on where we wanted to go. The owner really went out of her way for us and always had a smile (even at 5am the next morning when our taxi arrived). The room was beautiful! Soft mattress, warm and clean bedding, individual lights, cable TV, microwave, sink, cups, basic cutlery, mini fridge, superb bathroom with lovely HOT water and beautiful fixtures. Wifi was a little hit and miss in the room but worked fine outside the room. Plaza de Arms is about a 10 minute walk down the hill. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the San Blas area.

Three of us stayed here back in October at the beginning of a whirlwind South America trip. This was the best place we stayed! We did tons of research before booking any of our accommodations, and it definitely paid off!!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Elizabeth - who is by far the nicest and best hostess of all time!! She sat us down, helped with our bags, gave us tea and let us relax. She explained where everything was, the best ways to get around town, and told us that she was available at any time in case we needed her. AND SHE MEANT IT! She was fabulous!

The first floor was beautiful, nice furniture, huge flate screen tv, good computer with internet access and a printer. Perfect.

Our room was on the 3rd floor. Gorgeous. Spacious. 3 beds, a safe, a little kitchenette complete with a sink, microwave, fridge, kettle, and tea and tea cups. So cute! We used it all! Nice, clean beds with warm & comfortable comforters. The cleanest of South America. Our bathroom was small, but clean. Nice shower with HOT water! The towels were amazing, super fluffy!!

Then, one night I accidentally left a bag at the restaurant where we ate dinner, and Elizabeth helped us call them and came outside with us to get us in a cab ASAP to get back there. She was so great.

We also left for a 4 day Inca Trail trek and they stored our bags safely for us while we were gone. We were so impressed. What a fabulous place. Walking distance to everything (not that Cuzco is that big).

The breakfast is included, but simple. I was totally fine with that though. Nice buns/breads with jam/butter, coffee/teas and juice.

Highly Recommend!!!

Room Tip: There is no elevator, so if you already know you're affected by altitude sickness, maybe request...
