“When you just want to hang out with backpackers and a bit of wifi...”
Reviewed 31 October 2013 via mobile

Does what it says on the tin - relaxed, comfortable, good wifi (relatively speaking) and central. This is the place to base yourself for a couple of hours while you research flights, lodges etc and catch up on emails. Also does a good Bloody Mary!

“Friendly staff and wifi”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

A good place to check your emails. The food I sampled included the guacamole and chips which they call nachos and that was just ok. I also have sampled things off their ayahuasca menu and it was very good, filling and healthy. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. However there seem to be a group of gringos that hang out there that sit at the bar and can be quite loud, so sometimes it is not the most relaxing of places.

“Loved it!”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

Went there looking for wifi and ended up staying all afternoon because I was very comfortable, the food was really good and the place itself was very welcoming.
A nice place to go in Iquitos if you just want to relax for a while and have a snack.

“Cool vibe and great food!”
Reviewed 23 September 2013

This place is really cool. They offer free wi-fi, an ayahuasca friendly menu, and really large portions. The art work on the walls and their very comfortable chairs makes this a must chill place while staying in Iquitos, Peru.

“Decent food, does not make it as a bar scene”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

This is one of the more eclectic places in Iquitos. It's a hip place with folks sitting around on the sofa using the Wifi and eating falafel sandwiches. You get the picture.

Service here is generally good. Some of the food is quirky though. Don't order the quinoa (a Peruvian national grain/fruit) unless you like finding sand or some kind of grit in your mouth. It was pretty disgusting actually.

The Saturday evening attempts at live music are a fail. First, the place is too small, put in 2-3 guys with their keyboards and guitars and you have taken out like 10% of the place. Second, being a small place, the sound is TOO LOUD. You can't hear yourself think or eat.

Apart from the sandy quinoa and the loud music there are few other faults. This is definitely a place to try. But you won't think your in California from being there.
