We spent two nights here before going to Machu Picchu and returned six days later for another two nights. This is the perfect hotel for tourists. Wonderful upscale neighborhood (the best in Lima), lots of restaurants within walking distance around John F. Kennedy Park, and Larcomar mall at the Pacific Ocean. The staff is ultra courteous and helpful, with a nice restaurant and bar, on premises and a wonderful breakfast spread, nice big lobby, and modern rooms. Makes for a great base of operations when visiting Lima.

I was excited to stay in a locally flavored hotel while in Lima. I was disappointed upon arrival. We stayed at the Westin previously and it was lovely, though typically Westin. I was looking forward to this hotel, especially since it was the "private collection". I would hate to see the regular brand of this chain. The room was ok, though the bathroom had a HUGE whole in the wall with a frosted glass panel in front of it. You had the feeling that someone was watching you. I had a connecting room, which was not necessary. I heard the man's phone conversation as if he was sitting next to me. You could also hear him urinating like he was in my room. The noise in the hallway carried as if in an arena. The dining room service was glacial and food was awful. Location was good but that was it.

Room Tip: stay away from rooms ending in 8 (908, 608, etc) these are at the end of the hallway with the stairs...

It is a good hotel with all the requirements and basic needs that a traveler would ask. The staff is very communicative and they went straight to the point that we needed to know about this city. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, but the two days we stayed there was a huge amount of guests in the hotel and the elevators were not to rough for everyone.
One day we were waiting for a long time from our floor (16th floor) and we got tired of waiting for so long and then we decided to walk down the stairs to the dining room. This was the only bad experience there, me and my husband thought the service of this place is what stands out, but definitely not out of the building infrastructure.

Good hotel overall. Clean, Decor in good order and with a hint of "typical" Peruvian decor. Free internet, very good breakfast buffet, free fast internet and excellent location in Miraflores district (very close to the sea and to the Miraflores Park and Plaza)

The staff is AMAZING. People is so friendly that you want to befriend almost everyone in the hotel. The concierge (Renzo) is probably the best asset of this hotel; this guy knows everything about Lima. We went with his recommendations for restaurants almost all the time and he hit bullseye consistently.

The room came with nice ammenities like slippers and bathrobes. That was certainly a plus.

Price was on the spot. We felt we paid the right amount of money for what we got.

On the bad side: when we arrived the toilet was clogged but they solved the problem immediately.
The view from most of the rooms is not great, just a " vis-a-vis" with other buildings. There are no great ammenities like a terrace or a pool.

Room Tip: Go for standard double rooms. The difference in space is minimal and the price difference is not wor...

We had reservations at Casa Andina Classic for several nights in Lima but when we arrived they had no rooms available and upgraded us to this hotel in their family. The staff was wonderfully friendly and the food was good. The location was awesome for walking around, dining out and shopping. While we were there we did not use any of the amenities the hotel offered so can't speak to those but I would definitely book a room at the hotel on a future visit.

Friendly staff, reasonable food, clean quiet rooms in a convenient location. Concierge in particular was very helpful.
Kennedy Park is just a short stroll away, with plenty of excellent cafes and restaurants to choose from.
Drive from the airport can be tedious during peak periods.
Wouldn't choose the city tour offered at the hotel, very expensive and not that good. The buses operating from Kennedy Park look better value.
Would stay there again.
