We were in Barranco for 9 days and had three dinners at La 73. The grilled peach salad, lamb burger and caramel filled churros with chocolate dipping sauce were my favourites; but, everything that we ate was made with quality ingredients and thoughtfully and well prepared. The patio is very pleasant, the service was as good as it gets and unpretentious. There are some very good and sensibly priced wines on their list. We decided that we'd rather eat at La 73 three times than splurge once at one of Lima's hot spots, which may be more fancy but are very unlikely to serve better food.
