K'usillu's was the first hostel in South America for us so we did not quite know what to expect. The room (double ensuite) was nice and hat a little roofed area to sit in. Bathroom was OK and the showers hot and with plenty of water. Unfortunately there is a lot of coming and going so it can get a bit noisy at the rooms close to the front desk.
The breakfast is the normal Peruvian one with bread rolls and jam.
Location is quite good, directly in Miraflores close to the Parque Kennedy and the Metropolitano to get to the city centre.
The staff (especially Ricardo) was nice and helpful in booking the bus onward to Nazca. We had booked a pick-up from the airport, which worked quite well, even though we did not come with the intended plane but one twelve hours later (thanks to Iberia) and we could only notify the hostel in the middle of the night.
All in all a good place in Miraflores to stay.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the reception.

I stayed in twin room. Good location in Miraflores of Lima, and close to 24hour-open super market. Staffs are very kind and gives us good supports. Sofas and ping-pong are in roof stair, so travelers can enjoy talking, playing ping pong as well. There are many young back packers, so sometimes noisy at night. totally, it is very nice place to stay.

Good location, comfortable and clean rooms. Very friendly and kind staff. Wonderful area upstairs with ping pong and foosball and couches. Breakfast was extremely simple but still good.
Overall it was a good place with no problems.

Good location, nice staff and breakfast, fast Internet, Comfortable rooms and amenities.

Can pay in soles bug exchange rate terrible compared with US dollar which is wrong. They are in Peru so should accept soles at market value.
Taxi to airport friendly and punctual. About 15 soles more than it should be though

The location of this hostel is absolutely excellent in Miraflores. Miraflores is the best area to stay in as most of the hostels and hotels as well as restaurants are here. The centre is a bit dead especially in the evenings.

With the new "metro" bus system it is very easy to get to the centre. You can walk to the station in 5 mins and it costs just 1.5 soles per person. Buy the ticket from one of the official people by the entrance and not the booth as they can just scan you straight through the gate. This is faster than queuing for the booth. you probably do not need to buy your own card especially if you only stay a day or two.

As for the hostel, the staff are really excellent and friendly and perfect English is spoken which is great if your Spanish is not up to much. Also a breakfast is included which consists of fresh baked bread rolls, jam and butter with juice and coffee. Excellent to receive any breakfast at a hostel in Peru and even better when you consider the price you pay per night.

The hostel itself is basic and probably in need of a paint job but the showers are hot and the beds are comfortable so this is perfect for the budget traveller or backpacker. There were several guest there when we stayed so no problem finding someone to talk to if you are travelling alone.

When finding the hostel it is easy to miss. The hostel is above a coffee shop and from street level you can only see the doorway with a sign for the hostel. As you look at the coffee shop the hostels entrance is on the left.
