We are a family of 3 ( husband and son) who decided to spend March break in Lima, Peru. We were there from March 9- 23, 2009. We learned about this hotel through friends who highly recommended us due to its value and location.
This hotel is located near Plaza San Miguel which is very nice plaza with major shopping malls, supermarkets, and there is a nearby Starbucks cafe, TGIF, and various other local restaurants. It's easy to hail a cab and go to Miraflores, Larcomar and the Beach area. BTW, taxi rides are ridiculously cheap ( $1-$5 CDN) depending on your destination.
It's also 15 minutes away from the Lima International Airport. Rooms are clean and huge ( we had the presidential suite, this suite comes with a jacuzzi). We paid roughly $ 40-45 CDN per night. The simple rooms are a lot cheaper $25-30 CDN.
They had a spa facility but we did not use it.
We had room service every morning. Breakfast consisted of: 1 omelette with ham, 1 pair of toasts, 1 cup of coffee, 1 papaya juice and 1 freshly squeezed orange juice. All these for $4.00 CDN.
Overall, it was a good hotel.
