My family and I were recently in Lima and came across a brochure for this bike tour in our hotel. My husband, is an athletic type and wanted to give it a try. I was hesitant, being less athletic and having a small child in tow, but did not regret our decision to take this tour. The ride was about four hours and covered the entire boardwalk area or "malecon" along the coast. The pace was easy and we stopped frequently so I didn't feel too worn out by the end. The scenery was breathtaking, even on the cloudy day that we went, and we stopped in several quant and charming areas that we would never have made it too without this tour. One of the trip highlights was a stop at the unique little art co-op type store called Dedalo. They had high quality hand-crafted items and a snack bar. We also made it to an picturesque port town of Chorillos and the bohemian Baranco neighborhoods. Our guide Enrique was friendly and knowledgeable and spoke English exceptionally well. He and his wife manage the business and she was the one that picked us up at our hotel and took us to the start of the tour. They gave us great restaurant recommendations as well as pointing us in the direction of other fun things to do in Lima. Overall, we thought the tour was one of the highlights of our time in Lima.
