I loved my stay here! The hostel has a great atmosphere and there is something to do every night! Great place to meet people as it's always busy! Dorms are spacious and the bunk beds are huge and comfy! Lockers in the rooms have power sockets, which is really handy! The bar and terrace on the roof are great, and the food is cheap and really good! Location is also perfect and in a safe but busy area! My favourite hostel in South America!

Spent one night here, it was a great time. All beds and facilities were clean and in good order. Good for younger crowd looking to party a bit but still reasonable for those looking to lay low. Staff is very warm and welcoming and speak very good English.

Just like the one in Cusco this hostel has been sent down from heaven! Amazingly comfy beds with 2 pillows, a storage locker for every person that fits your backpack and has charge points inside it. Amazing movie room with huge beanbags and cushions and a hard drive chock full of movies (and lots of Disney!). Amazing location, great food, clean bathrooms it's just perfect!

This hostel definitely has the best location in the Miraflores district. It is right in the centre plaza although the sign of the place is a little hard to see. They organized my airport transfer easily and were really welcoming. I enjoyed the rooftop lounge area and the bar.

Great location and great value for money. Staff incredibly friendly and very helpful, patient enough to deal with my rusty spanish. They have a great terrace on the last floor where you can chill. I arrived in the early hours, a bit tired after 24 hrs flight from london, they took a great care of me and even offered me a breakfast. Also super clean, shockingly clean considering the amount of people that come in and out. Wonderful, if ever in lima again I would definitely stay there. Highly recommended!!!

I stayed in both the large and smaller dorm rooms at Pariwana over a period of 9 days and as dorms go the facilities couldn't have been nicer. Great mattresses, comfortable bedding, large storage lockers for each guest and shockingly clean given how many guests there were. The bathrooms, rooms and common areas were being cleaned constantly and the cleanliness really provided for a comfortable atmosphere. Killer lomo saltado in the restaurant/bar, good drinks, coffee and free breakfast and the impression that every staff member really cared about their job and making things nice for everyone. My only gripes were that the ceiling fan in the large dorm was inadequate and one night was unbearably hot, there was intense noise from the street (not the fault of the hostel - it's due to the the awesome central location - just bring earplugs), and that guests are required to wear colorful wristbands they are not permitted to remove for the length of their stay. I'm glad Pariwana really monitors who comes and goes for the safety of everyone but there has to be another way but I think it's inappropriate to force its clientele to wear something on their bodies or leave. Overall though the hostel was excellent, probably one of the best in Peru, and I'd highly recommend it. That said, the last review alleging racial discrimination against Peruvian nationals is serious, not unfounded and not at all based in what I hope is not perceived as neurotic political correctness on the part of the reviewer. The reason being that in my travels I've encountered multiple hostels in Ecuador and Peru that simply do not allow nationals to stay as either a matter of stated policy or covert discrimination to create a "pure" environment for foreigners (whichever they can get away with according to local laws). This is something that should disturb and infuriate us as responsible world travelers. By all appearances Pariwana is run by caring, fair and professional people and I believe we absolutely owe them the benefit of the doubt on this issue the moment they provide a a response, but until they do we as citizens of the world have a responsibility to at least question what is going on there and stay away.

I was a bit hesitant about this place after reading some of the other reviews. Visited in mid-March, and they really seem to have taken feedback and improved.

Pariwana was great when we wanted to party and great when we wanted downtime. It's got a great vibe that everyone can enjoy. The rooftop terrace is great for lazing about, playing some ping pong, and enjoying the superb food (offered at very fair prices). The room was nice, staff incredibly helpful, and building watched by security.

Highly recommended!
