My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We had a very nice corner room with a great view. We found the employees to be extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us with whatever we needed. The Peruvian fusion restaurant Maras had a ravioli...pumpkin I think it was. We still dream about it. This is a much nicer hotel than the Sheraton a few miles down the road, and closer to Miraflores and San Isidro. Not as close to the historic center, but only five or six minutes further, perhaps, by taxi. Great hotel for business or pleasure.

We stayed at the Westin in Lima after a wonderful trip to Macchu Picchu. This place is all class. From the minute you walk in, you know it will be a wonderful stay.

The rooms were very clean, the room service prompt, and the employees very friendly and professional.

Will be looking forward to my next stay at a Westin!

The Westin in Lima opened this year, and surprised me with its great in-room design and attention to detail. The lobby was also very nice, although may be missing some informal seating where you can wait for someone picking you up and such.
The food was very good too, loved their Ceviche, a little pricey in comparison to local food but well that's expected in the property type.
I would totally recomend it for travel purposes. If traveling for fun, I would probably look for something with an ocean view or closer to the historic part of town.

Pros: VERY stylish, lovely, clean, modern rooms with all the bells and whistles, GREAT club lounge, and good food/drinks
-GM is fantastic!

Cons: San isidro is kind of a random area, nothing to see, not many food options, not pretty.
-Traffic noise....glass seems to be not at all soundproof - LOUD traffic all night.

Room Tip: High Floor away from traffic to ensure sleep. Suites are WONDERFUL!

Hotel facilities and attention are excellent.
If you will be working in this area, I recommend staying here. Some colleagues stayed at Miraflores and everyday the ride took quiet a long time because of the traffic (morning and afternoon)
As other people mentioned, wi-fi should not be charged.
For dinner, hotel restaurant is good but besides that, there are not many options around the hotel at night so you have to take a taxi and go to Miraflores.
If you are not a big breakfast person like me (I only need some cappuccino and some croissants or toasts) I would recommend going to the Starbucks (3 blocks from the hotel).

Room Tip: If you like to train, they have "working space rooms" or something like that, where you ha...

As other people mention this is a very good hotel option if you have to stay in Lima. Location is good and you have very near two shopping malls, Ripleys and Saga Falabella (this one has a very big supermarket in their basement) and also Starbucks and some fast food outlets, so this is good if you do not want to stay in the Hotel all the time.

There is also an excellent grill restaurant just one block behind the Hotel, El Hornero where you can have an excellent meat with a very good service.

Room in the hotel is well appointed and you have a lot of TV channels, but they do not put all the basic toiletries in the room and you have to ask for them, like for instance toothbrush.

The fridge in the room is a weak point as it is the type where you cannot put the free bottles of water they will put in the room and nothing else actually. You also cannot touch any drink or you will be charged automatically to your bill, but at least they told you that during check in.

You also need to review your bill upon check out as they try to charge me for an overseas phone call that I never made.

Room Tip: With highest floor, better view.

This is a new, modern and well-equipped hotel in Lima's central district.

I was visiting for a work trip involving meetings in the hotel itself, staying for four nights. The meeting facilities were excellent - rooms well maintained and great staffing (I think we had two staff making sure all was OK the whole time), and the catering was absolutely fantastic for meeting breaks. We had simultaneous translation running and the hotel was able to quickly replace some bits of our equipment that didn't connect a very short timeframe, which was much appreciated.

I had a twin room as I was travelling with a family member. The room was very spacious, two queen beds that were beyond comfortable - in fact, they were super-comfortable, and I miss that bed. Bathroom was huge, shower with waterfall and extra spout, large bath, separate WC, two sinks with plenty of room for putting things out. Breakfast and lunch buffet options in the lobby restaurant were also very good. Wifi and desk space was also great although they do charge for wifi at reasonably high rates. Dry cleaning was excellent but be prepared to mortgage your house on the costs for that one!

I was particularly impressed by the staff - they could not have been more helpful, friendly and polite, all keen to share their knowledge of Lima and proud of the attractions and growth in Peru. It seems all staff in customer roles are bilingual and my lack of Spanish was very generously accommodated. Overall a professional and 5 star experience and one I would recommend. This isn't one for the budget conscious but for a business or luxury stay, very much recommended. Thank you for a lovely stay.
