“Great taste of food”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

I traveled to Lima for Business and this my first stay at Runcu-Miraflores hotel, where the Hotel restaurant located at the 8th floor with great view. Now the food was unbelievable (Very good), the Peruvian taste with great chef operating the cocking. I really enjoyed the food as well as the hospitality of the people in the restaurant. Great taste with very unique flavoring. I really recommend you to try it.

“Amazing cooking class”
Reviewed 20 December 2013 via mobile

We chose to stay here merely based on reviews on TripAdvisor! We were really looking forward to the resturant up on the 8th floor as I had heard a lot about it! Breakfast was free and delicious but the real highlight is the dinners and his signature cooking class - which he only just started recently, but it is as if he's been doing them for years! Gonzalo is very passionate about the peruvian food & he was a true master at choosing what to mix with what. The food is simply delicious & you learn about its history at the same time! It's really a hands on class and you even get into the kitchen & learn how to make pisco sour. Delicious! He is really friendly, kind and speaks fluent english. Truly a great way to spend the afternoon, with full bellys & plenty of drinks you won't be disappointed! Enjoy!

“great food, great cooking class”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

We recently stayed at the Runcu hotel and took a cooking course at the restaurant.
We would highly recommend it. We made pisco sours, ceviche, loma saltado and causa. Gonzalo, the chef, was an excellent "ambassador" for Peruvian cuisine. He had all fresh ingredients which we cooked and then enjoyed for dinner. It was an experience that we will not soon forget. He even gave us sample spices to take home! This was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Peru.

“Peruvian cooking lesson”
Reviewed 3 July 2013

My wife and I took a cooking lesson yesterday with Gonzalo and Juan at the restaurant in the Runcu Hotel. It was fantastic! We learned how to make several traditional Peruvian dishes. They were all extremely good. Gonzalo is a great teacher and his English was great for instructing as well as telling us about the culture and history of Peru. His price is very reasonable and this was a highlight of our trip to Lima.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed 30 June 2013

This place has great tamales for breakfast. In every way superior to the stale bread and cold butter that is on regular offer to gringos throughout Peru. We've also heard unsubstantiated rumors that their pisco sours are quite delicious. We didn't try them, though, because it was in the morning. Their coffee and juice were just fine.
