We visited at the end of May, 2013, and found the Marriott a perfect place to rest and re-group for our adventures in Peru. Too bad about the fog, as we could not go para-sailing. Ocean view, ( it did clear in the afternoon) and the Executive level are well worth the extra money. The food was way beyond your average buffet - plentiful and representative of Peruvian produce. The 4 of us ate breakfast- really a grand spread, lunch - also plentiful, and at 5PM wine and tasty filling ,small dishes. The staff were tremendously helpful - answering all of our questions. Internet access is free. We had read revues of restaurants in Miraflores, which we might have visited, but were so happy with the food, ambiance, service on the Executive Level we relaxed and ate all of our meals there.
The location was wonderful, and we were very comfortable walking in the area.More
