We stayed there before our journey to Cusco and it was just perfect. The room was spacious, very nice and clean. The lobby with the stairs was impressive too. But the best part was definitely breakfast. The selection was huge and the view was fantastic.

In general, the hotel is situated in the new part of the city, Miraflores, direct at the sea.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had two nights of relaxed luxury before our expedition to cusco and machu pichu.
The hotel has a great location by the sea, with the clifftop walk a highlight in either direction. A very quiet area of Miraflores yet only 10 minutes walk to the restaurants and shopping.
The staff offer excellent service at all levels being very friendly and helpful
The in house taxi limousine service is great value and very welcome in a large city.
Our junior suite had everything we needed, a huge bathroom with sauna and beautiful appointments
Breakfast, the pool and gym were all great.

We stayed at this hotel the night before and after a seven day trip in the Amazon jungle. It is beautifully located in the Miraflores section of Lima, overlooking the Pacific. The rooms are spacious and extremely well appointed. The staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast (included in the price) is not to be missed because it is served on an observation deck on the roof. An excellent buffet offering. On our return we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant located on the lobby level. The restaurant has an excellent Japanese chef and the offering is Japanese or Peruvian. Very moderate in price but outsatnding quality and variety. It was a great hotel to start and finish a wonderful trip to Peru.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share a review of your time in our property. This type of regular feedback from our guests is very helpful, so I personally read through every review that is posted online.
Regarding to your suggestion, we totally agree with you and are more than aware that our property needs a renovation. It is well known that the management has made the decision to make the improvements in a few months, investing million of dollars in this project.
In your comments, you also emphasize the quality of the Caesar Salad served in our Bar.This is the first time we receive a complaint about the salad that we offer in our prestigious bar. We will ensure that our Executive Chef is aware of your comment.
Despite that, I am really glad to know that you have enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Observatory room. It was also heartening to know that you had pleasant encounters with our staff. Indeed our staffs are the spirit of our hotel and I am fortunate to have them as a team working for Miraflores Park Hotel in Lima!

Thank you once again for your contribution regarding our great service. We look forward to welcoming you in the new future!
Sincerely,

All the best,

We stayed here at the beginning and end of an Orient-Express vacation to Peru. The first night was in a standard room overlooking the ocean. The room was competent- think a Hyatt but nothing special. However, the bed and pillow were very comfortable. The reception and baggage staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is held on the top floor looking at the bluff and ocean. The servers were very friendly and the food was fine. For our last night we were upgraded to the "Presidential Suite". The room was massive- think a Vegas suite. But, it was devoid of furnishings and the decor was 1970's. Although we had a huge balcony with a plunge pool, a whirlpool tub big enough for 4 people, and a sauna, upon closer inspection, everything was run down- there was a stain on the couch, stains on the carpet, the safe was glitchy, the dvd was broken, the bed was very old and sagged, and the plunge pool had cold water in it and the jets blew cold water. We ordered Ceasar salads at the bar restaurant, that were, by far, the worst salads we have ever tasted. The dressing was inedible. However, we also ordered a cheese plate that was generous with decent cheeses, nuts, etc. The hotel is in need of a big time makeover.

Room Tip: Any room looking out at the ocean and park

We stayed here on three separate occasions during our five week trip around Peru. The rooms were lovely and one room even had its own sauna. We had sea-view rooms which gave spectacular views across the coastline. The staff are lovely and greet you personally. It's in a good location for visiting the shopping mall and generally walking along the coast. You can also go paragliding, which we did! The historic centre is a taxi-ride away, as is the water park, which is well worth a visit. Rosa Nautica is a short walk down the hill and, although we didn't eat there because it was full, we had a very good pisco sour. However, we did eat in the hotel and have mixed feelings about this. Breakfast was excellent (apart from the lack of coffee on several occasions) but the bar food less so. We had to send it back on one occasion because it was cold and on another occasion it only turned up when the bar manager asked of its whereabouts! We didn't dine in Mesa 18 by Toshiro so cannot comment on that. The bar itself though was pleasant and the bar manager exceptional - he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

The open lounge area is a bit soul-less. One evening they had a resident singer who was very good, as was the pianist, which made for a great atmosphere, The pianist played solo most nights, which was lovely. But a lot of the time it was empty and lacking in atmosphere, which was a shame because it has a magnificent staircase as the centrepiece of a very nice open area.

This is a luxury hotel which "lacks a bit of something". Having said that though it is a nice hotel and we would stay here again.

Great Hotel with the typical Orient-Express standard in Miraflores area, by the Pacific. 30mns from the airport and the historic center. Big rooms, tastefully decoration, extremely confortable. Great food at Mesa 18, fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. Splendid breakfast buffet. Great massages at the spa. Outside pool on roof top. The best of all : the superb hospitality and kindness of the staff.

This is a very elegant hotel that hugs the malecon, the park-lined avenue that traces the Lima coastline.. It is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and a coastal park with sculptures. The service was excellent. The morning we checked out, we had to leave the hotel before the restaurant opened or room service began. The hotel offered to send us a full hot breakfast before they officially opened. There is a small rooftop pool with a beautiful view of the coast. This hotel is typical of Orient Express hotels with 5 star service.

Room Tip: Try to reserve an ocean view room.
