Everything here is first class. From greeting on arrival, to smooth check-in, things could not have gone better. I was stressed out since we were late due to our flight, but during check-in, the gentleman at reception (Jorge?) re-confirmed our table at Astrid y Gaston. I was very impressed that he was able to get that done for me since it was a Saturday night. We were taken to our luxurious room and given the tour. The room had all the modern amenities and the bed was quite comfortable. The photos here on Tripadvisor are an accurate representation of the rooms. We woke up to a gorgeous view of the Peruvian coastline stretching to the north, and followed that with a tasty buffet breakfast in the restaurant on top of the building.
A driver was arranged for us to tour the city; we enjoyed that a lot after checking-out. After touring and dinner, we returned to the hotel, and a very nice room was made available for us to change clothes for our flight back.
I wish we could have stayed longer in Lima, and at this hotel, specifically.
I highly recommend this property for a luxurious stay in a safe area of town!

My husband and I spent four nights in Lima at the beginning of our honeymoon. We spent our first two nights at the Westin and the second half at the Miraflores Park Hotel. The most notable difference between the two: LOCATION. MPH is in the heart of Miraflores, walking distance to the Larcomar, to great restaurants and sights, and very close to Barranco which was a huge bonus for us.

The hotel itself was supremely luxe. Our room had a huge, Roman-style bathtub, a sauna (in our room!), and plush touches. The service was great from the moment we stepped in, with people calling us by name and thoroughly assisting with any questions we had. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the hotel bar, is a great place for a pre-dinner cocktail with great pisco sours if you're looking for a delicious local drinks. The breakfast (which was included for us) covered all the bases: tons of fresh-baked pastries, bread, fresh fruit, pancakes, a made-to-order omelette station (the list goes on), they really cover the gamut!

While Lima wasn't our favorite place in peru, the Miraflores Park Hotel made our stay in Lima quite memorable and easy to explore!

We stayed for two nights, there were some fantastic restaurants in walking distance, but the service of this hotel was perfect. The rooms were very spacious, and I got a good price for the room on a hotel website. My mother in law stayed for one night but was upgraded to a suite which was lovely.

Central Lima is considered a dangerous place to stay but Miraflores is well patrolled by security. There is a nice shopping centre in Miraflores restaurants and parks with pictures for sale. The down side is that Miraflores is 90 minutes in the rush hour from the airport so for a stop over before going to Cusco it seems a lot of effort. In the winter the sea view cannot be seen as it is usually foggy.
The hotel room facilities are good although some fresh air would be good. The breakfast (and the misty view) from the Observatory beside the roof top pool is excellent. I did not try the hotel restaurant as the local restaurants were so good

After a flight to Lima we walked into the Miraflores Hotel and were struck with its beauty from the beautiful flowers in the entrance, exceptional staff, and amazing accommodations . Christy made dinner reservations for us and each meal was outstanding plus she really seemed to care about her guests welfare. She like the hotel was a 10 ++ The food in Lima is so good the restaurants were a culinary treat and we loved the food at the hotel. Breakfast is soo good too. Just enjoy! the hotel is situated in a perfect area as well . We felt very safe being in the Miraflores area.

Room Tip: They will upgrade your room if at all possible we were lucky had a magnificent ocean view !

Its location is excellent... at the edge of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and beautiful Miraflores Park; a 5-minute walk to the upscale Larcomar shopping mall and a 15-minute walk to famous Astrid & Gaston restaurant.
But what really stands out is the warm, friendly and caring service, which reminded me of some of the grand hotels of Europe.
Do try the quinoa tabule salad in Mesa18!

Room Tip: Get an ocean-view room

From the moment you step into the lobby and see the wonderful flowers you know you are somewhere classy. The rooms are large and luxurious and have great views out over the coast. The breakfast room on the top floor is wonderful and the buffet breakfast was the best we have seen for a long while. The pool is on the roof and is good but it was a bit windy when we were there so we didn't use the sun loungers. Talking about the weather, both mornings were really quite foggy and cold until mid morning. We walked into Miraflores and took note about not carrying cameras etc but in fact we felt fairly safe. We stayed 2 nights on arrival into Peru and appreciated the comfort of this hotel. It is about an hour's drive from the airport so may not be quite so convenient for an overnight stop. Lima's traffic does seem to be very heavy at most times of the day!

Room Tip: Higher floors with sea view.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
There’s something special about a room with a sea view. Waking up to the image of sun-gilded waves in the morning. Watching the moonlight play along the surf late at night. When that sea view is offered by a hotel in a bustling Latin American capital city, it is something very special indeed. We’re willing to bet that there are few city hotels that can cite a string of palm trees as their closest neighbors. Set in a verdant garden atop a towering cliff, Belmond Miraflores Park is a true urban sanctuary. The hotel takes its name from the well-heeled neighborhood of Miraflores. This suburb of Lima is loved by locals for its luxury shopping and blooming six-mile boardwalk that borders the Pacific. It’s no coincidence that Miraflores translates to “Look! Flowers!” in English. Whether you’re with us for business or for leisure, Belmond Miraflores Park is destined to impress. There’s a sophisticated Executive Lounge on the tenth floor in which you can while away those work hours in style. ... more   less
