“Not great”
Reviewed 15 July 2012

The hotel has a good location, but is outdated. It is clean enough. Had to upgrade to a suite, the standard room was very small with no refrigerator. There was an issue with the upgrade price that took quite a while to resolve (they wanted to charge rack rate). Some staff members did not exhibit good customer service, other did very well. Wifi is not available in a suites, you have to get a cable from the front desk. Would not choose to stay here again, there are other hotels in the area that are better.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are better as there is no one next to your bed wall.

Reviewed 15 April 2012

I made a reservation for this Hotel for 14 nights from March 27th., until April 8th, 2012 for a double room for me and my wife (matrimonial bed). Price was agreed thru an exchange of e-mails. When we arrived we were told that that type of room was not available but they will give us what they call a Triple room (1 large bed plus 1 normal bed). 3 days after I decided to check the price they wrote on may card and to my surprise they were charging me the price of a Triple room. After some hassle they agreed to honor the original price when I showed them the exchange of emails. The room didn't have a dresser nor shelves in the closet to organize our clothes. After another 3 days I spotted an empty room with only one large bed and a dresser so I immediately requested to be moved. In the days prior I was complaining about the lack of shelves but the clerks didn't know what to do about it and were not offering any solution. Just staring with a blank look in their faces. While there a new guest was complaining that his phone in the room was not working and the clerk offered him to move him to a "suite" with a working telephone and a steep price change. Senior management should solve the following: 1) Install shelves in the closets at least 3 shelves will fit. (not a very expensive improvement). 2) Install if at all possible a small safe deposit in all the rooms so guest don't have to go to the reception to have someone open their safe sometime in front of other people. Service at their restaurant was friendly but menu very limited. Noise is acceptable now with the special installed windows. Location is good but one drawback was the number of bars and disco places until 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning. Should I come back to this hotel: Yes but I would like to see first the improvements that I mentioned.

I stayed at this hotel along with my wife and year and half old daughter for 2 nights from 3/22 - 3/24. We stayed in a suite witch consisted of king size bed, couch, center table, mini fridge (great if you have kids), safe, dresser, double door closet, 31” hanging movable flat screen with DVD player and cable, huge bathroom with Jacuzzi, shower, hair dryer and full size mirrors. W e stayed in suite 209 which had a direct view to club Bierhous. Good amenities free WIFI pretty bad service in rooms, free international calls only from lobby, and breakfast is included. The hotel is in a great location with many book stores, restaurants, tattoo shops, and Peru’s version of Macys Ripleys. Kennedy Park is located a block in a half away as well. We had no problems with noise and again we were directly facing a well known club. Overall I would stay at this hotel any day of the week and would suggest the suites for $95.00 dollars a night you can’t beat it.

Room Tip: a little spanish goes along way, as well as the extra sole or two.

A reasonably priced hotel in an excelent location, some rooms suffer from a lot of noise from bars and discos in the vicinity, but there are also some quiet rooms. Rooms are ok but would benefit from a refurbishment but they are clean and staff is friendly.

When I showed up my reservation was not there. They could give me a triple room anyway.
Breakfast is delightful even if the waitress was asking me for my room number at the buffet table. Thursday, and friday were so noisy, because of the discotheques around the hotel. Some people use the rooms to sleep, did you know that?

Smiling receptionists, were the best of the service. They're smart and helpful, but their english should improve a little.

Room Tip: There are so many discos and noisy restaurantes around so, it's a good hotel from monday to wedn...

Great location close to Parque Kennedy in Miraflores. Shops and restaurants close by, only a few blocks walk to the beach.

Typical 3* hotel with decent sized rooms and bathrooms for an affordable prize. The service was very friendly and helpful. Most staff speak English.

Decor is somewhat outdated (babyblue bathroom fixtures ...) but the rooms are very clean. Breakfast is included, nothing special but certainly good value.

Rooms facing the street can be noise. Most nights the double glazed windows keep the noise out but on Friday/Saturday nights be prepared for heavy noise till 5 am.

I stayed at the suite and in a standard room. The suite offers more room, a fridge and a king sized bed. The bathroom is very large and includes a huge jacuzzi. It would take an hour to fill it with the low water pressure present! I don't think the much higher prize was justified. For a single traveler or a couple this is not a good value, I'd prefer the cheaper smaller room.

Room Tip: avoid rooms to the street
