We really appreciate this museum in Barranco. First the area is stunning, situated in the bohemian area, the Pedro de Osma museum has quite a good collection of colonial art, it was well interesting although we were told we weren´t allowed photos...The museum is located in a private colonial mansion. It was really interesting to get to know how the Spanish conquistadores took over the Pre- columbian civilizations through art (for example I really liked all paintings of the Virgin Mary in shape of a mountain to change their adoration for nature to catholicism). The little garden is quite pleasant as well (flowers, colibris, palmer trees...). They also have a reasonable collection of silver and gold
