The decor is lovely but very dark making the very weak bathroom lighting awful. Could hardly see to comb my hair never mind trying to put on make up. Our bedsheets upon arrival were not clean from the prior guest so we called housekeeping and the promptly came to change the bed sheets but this is when we saw that clean bedding does NOT include clean mattress pad or pillow cover protectors. Hotel location is good. Will find another hotel to stay in next time.

Such a lovely hotel with all the amenities and comforts in a safe part of Lima. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. The rooftop pool is a bonus for a great view of Lima and the hotel is located within walking distance of Larcomer. The restaurant Amaz (featured in the Anthony Bourdain episode of Parts Unknown) is located next door to the hotel. Everything needed was readily available which made for an extremely pleasant stay.

We stayed at this Hilton for 6 nights in May this year before embarking on a cruise through South America. It is in a lovely part of Miraflores, very safe to walk anywhere in this area. There are several excellent restaurants next to the hotel and many cafes on the main street where you can get a really good breakfast at a reasonable price. We splurged and booked a junior suite on the Executive Floor. Worth every cent and highly recommend it if you can afford the extra dollars. The Exec. lounge is perfect; nice choices for breakfast of cold cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and other foods. Tea, coffee, cappuccino, snacks throughout the day, excellent lunch choices and again for dinner. Drinks available after 5 p.m. Hands down this is the best Exec. lounge we've been in. If you wanted you could eat all your meals in the lounge!

The hotel is very modern and has great amenities. The staff are first class in every way. From bell boys, to reception, to the doormen - no-one could have done more for us and been so pleasant. Our junior suite was on a corner which gave it more room. The bathroom is gorgeous, high end toiletries and the bed is very comfortable. Bottled water was always left in our room - much appreciated. Housekeeping does a brilliant job and everything is so clean.

Tip: We arranged for pick up at the airport through the concierge at the hotel. The limo driver was waiting for us as we stepped out of the baggage area - it's a special area and you avoid all the crowds and taxi drivers vying for your business. We were whisked away to the hotel and it is definitely worth pre booking. Cost of limo can be put on your hotel bill which is very convenient. If interested just email the hotel and ask for info on limo pick up.

Tip: As for laundry, there is a dry cleaner approx. 5 minutes from the hotel which will do a bag of laundry (cost is by weight) in 3 hours. Washed and folded. Our bag weighed over 2 kg. and the cost was only $8. A bargain. Turn right out of hotel, then left at end of road. Dry cleaner is on the left hand side.

On our last night we dined in the hotel restaurant - it was really good and definitely not over priced as some reviewers have indicated.

Would I recommend this hotel in Miraflores - absolutely! I hope we get a chance to go back again very soon.

Room Tip: If you can pay a little extra go for a junior suite at the Executive level. Well worth the money.

Dear guest,

I am absolutely thankful for your detailed review and moreover to read that your stay at Hilton Lima Miraflores was excellent.

Peruvian gastronomy is rising as one of the world’s top cuisines, Miraflores has a well-designed gastronomy boulevard with 5 of the best restaurants in town.

We are glad that you found our Executive Lounge comfortable.
We wish you a wonderful cruise trip through South America and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in Lima again.

We stayed here 2 nights before we joined an organized tour----it was heavenly, especially when compare to the 3 star hotels our tour company used. Beautifully designed with an excellent coffee bar in the lobby, and THE BEST Pisco Sours we had in Peru from their bar (including on the Hiram Bingham train) Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices for anyone. Extremely comfy beds, decent sized bedroom and bath, fine linens and toiletries. Excellent cable stations on the television and reliable wifi. Great soundproofing in a city known for its late-night noise. Fabulously helpful staff and excellent restaurants within a 2 block walk. We absolutely HATED leaving this hotel because we knew the rest of our trip's hotels would not measure up----and we were right! Well-done Hilton!

Room Tip: We always request a room at the end of the hallway on a high floor to avoid as much noise from the s...

Dear guest,

I am happy to read that you had an excellent stay with us.
Did you know that the word Pisco comes from an ancient word “pesco” that native Peruvians used to name a bird on the coast? Pisco Sour is one of Peru’s national drinks and I am glad that you consider ours the best, I will personally congratulate our bartenders and let them know they are doing a great job. Should you come back to Peru again, I recommend you also try the Chilcano, Pisco Punch and many more cocktails that come from pisco.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

We traveled to Lima for Easter In April 2014 and this was my family's first trip to Peru. I chose the Hilton because it is a familiar brand name and of course to get the points for the stay. The hotel was nice and modern and the rooms were very clean. The staff at the front desk were not very friendly and just wanted to get their job done. The most friendliest staff at the hotel was the door man, and the maid service women. They are super nice and the doorman would always engage us in a friendly conversation about anything from books to recommended restaurants. If you use the taxis arranged by the hotel it is usually double or triple the price than if you arrange a cab yourself. The hotel is a good 15 - 20 minutes walk from Larcomar and not too bad. The breakfast was very good and they had a variety of items to choose from. There is a Starbucks 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel and a great restaurant named Tanga. Everything tasted delicious at Tanga and I would recommend. I would stay at this hotel again on my next trip or at the Marriott property which is closer to Larcomar. There are no kids activities at this hotel and I am not sure if they have a spa on-site.

Dear guest,

I appreciate your comments and thank you for sharing the details of your recent stay with us.
It called my attention the fact that you could not find the front desk Team Members friendly, I am forwarding this to my Training Manager to ensure this does not happen again. We are glad that you found local gastronomy delicious. Right outside the hotel, we are located, along with other four restaurants, on the gastronomic boulevard of Miraflores which provides our guests the chance to enjoy different kinds of cuisines while they are in Lima.
I can personally recommend our Huancainos Eggs for breakfast which have native potatoes in it.

We look forward to welcome you back again and to surprise you with our improvements.

Thank you again for sharing your feedback.
Kind regards,

The staff was polite, pleasant, helpful and made our stay a comfortable one. Our rooms were always clean and serviced at least twice a day. The staff were able to recommend tours, restaurants and helped with reservations. Able to walk about town from the hotel, always a nice thing. Cabs lined up outside at all times if we needed one. Cabs that we could trust as there are many questionable ones in the area. We always felt safe. Fast Wifi, always important, food in the executive level was always great and we enjoyed the happy hour on the 11th floor. Everyone was always making sure we were happy!

Arrive at 1am from a 30 hour flight, very fast check in which was greatly appreciated. There wasn't any complimentary water though so our only option was the $8 bottle of Evian from the mini bar, which I wasn't happy about. In a country where you can't drink the water, an expensive hotel should provide at least one small bottle.
The room was the smallest room I've ever stayed in in a 5 star hotel however it was very comfortable. The bed was excellent. The room was extremely quiet.
Overall, I'd probably stay there again.
The breakfast is not a buffet and not a la carte but food is brought to your table. I thought that was odd and decided not to try it.
