Stayed at the Dazzler for a few nights as we arrived in Lima for first time. Staff were awful at check in, we arrived early and I had emailed them twice to let them know but they said nothing had been received and they wouldnt help in any way and check in is 3pm on the dot not even 5 mins earlier. We asked again at 2.45pm and they said nothing and we would have to wait and then 3pm they gave the keys. No-one helped with our luggage to our room The room had just 2 towels and no handtowels or face towels The concierge (I assume thats what they were) told us to ask reception to book tickets or help with tickets to Machu but reception refused, said they didnt know where Tourist information office was, didnt have a good map (very bad photocopy). Location isnt bad but staff except for 1 guy on the 2nd day dont help at all, so you have to figure out for yourself. Breakfast was bland, you have to ask for coffee to be refilled in the machine, ask for toasts etc, same food everyday. Pool - the smallest I have ever seen and didnt look clean, sauna was off both days I went up and you have to switch on and wait 30mins to use (instructions), no towels in the changing rooms (actually were toilets).
