“Avoid at all cost”

Having stayed in hotels all over the world this one is absolutely the worst. One star is one too many. We checked in for 2 nights attracted by the location. We booked 2 rooms, one for us, one for the children. It was a mistake. 15 minutes from the airport one can find lovely, clean hotels. This one falls squarely under the definition of "roach motels". Let's list the issues:
- Rooms are dirty: my bathroom had a used towel and hair in the bath
- Carpets are filthy, with stains and cigarette burns - you would not want to walk in bare feet on that (both rooms were the same).
- Double room is just that - a tiny double bed with not enough room for 2 adults (we decided to split the kids up as there was not enough room for us both - we are normal sized adults)
- Rooms are completely sterile with no decoration of any kind .
- Blanket on the bed is the thinnest I have ever seen. We had to put on extra clothing for warmth.
- Airconditioning did not work.
- Every morning the fresh and so pungent smell of garbage greeted us as we stepped out the rooms. I can only assume we were next to a garbage disposal unit of some sort?
- Gym: I used it twice in 2 days - it was not cleaned during that time at all (in fact no one has been there - I had to switch on the ligths, left them on and switched them off on day 2). About 10 machines - 2 work, the others are not even plugged in. All are old, broken, missing buttons etc. It is really an afterthought on the top floor.
- Food: adequate although both I and my husband were sick the first morning (although that could have been the altitude sickness pills we were taking)
- Spa: an overstatement. Sauna did not work, jacuzzi was ice cold and the steam room heated up to an unbearable extent (really not usable - every time I stepped out an attendant asked if I was done yet - I had an impression I was an inconvenience).. But it was an escape from the room!
- Nowhere to go, nothing to do. It is literally 20m from the entrance to the airport building and in the middle of a parking lot out of town.
- Price: it is beyond overpriced and only gets away with it because of its location and a captive audience.

What can I say? Whatever your arrival time, whatever your departure time, that 20 minutes taxi ride to anywhere else is 100% worth it. This is an overpriced hell hole.

Room Tip: Nothing close to garbage disposal unit

As other reviewers have stated, the main thing this hotel has going for it is the location. We stayed here because we arrived in Peru late at night and had an early morning departure to Puerto Maldonado. The staff is fine but the property is overpriced and underwhelming. We are a family of four (with teenage children) and wanted to book only one room due to the cost and the very short time we would have in the room. The website would not allow me to have four in the room however I e-mailed the hotel manager directly and he allowed us to have four in the room without hesitation. The front desk staff were efficient and courteous and the we were given 4 complimentary drinks in the lounge upon arrival. The front lobby and lounge were clean and modern looking however the room was stark had a filthy carpet. The "double" beds were small (perhaps that's why they don't want four in the room) and not very comfortable. The breakfast was good and included eggs made to order. So in summary, if you have short layover it's a good option as getting into Lima will definitely take more time but don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Average rooms, way over priced. The bar and restaurant are probably more expensive than the nicest place in Lima. That being said since so many flights to cusco require a nights stay in Lima.......this is the most convenient airport hotel I have ever seen. It is directly across the street from international Arrivals.

This hotel is not particularly appealing but, for what it is, it gets the job done. The hotel is about a one-minute walk from the international arrivals area using the second floor sky bridge which crosses over the traffic lanes below.

On the positive side:
Free internet in your room and throughout the hotel, a coupon at check-in good for one free bottle of water at the bar, 110/220 volt power in the rooms, high shower heads, efficient check in/check out process, and free included breakfast buffet which begins at 5am.

On the negative side:
The rooms, while clean, are rather austere. In some ways it feels more like a bare college dorm room than a hotel which costs US$200 per night.

The upshot:
If you are arriving late, and leaving early, this hotel is “just fine.” But don’t expect to be impressed nor desire to spend any extra time here.

The hotel is literally opposite the arrivals hall so getting there couldn't be easier.

The food in the restaraunt was surprisingly good for an airport hotel, the service was good throughout our stay and the spa was most welcome after a long flight. Don't expect to be able to swim in the pool - it is a small (cold) plunge pool and the rooms are basic but perfectly adequate.

The good: The restaurant was good, service acceptable, food tasty, priced a bit high, as one might expect. First floor was attractive, but ... so what? The bad: My room had a carpet left over from a 1970s Motel 6 in Lawrence, Kansas. Stained, ugly, yuck. But .. there you are, stuck, nothing else nearby that you could easily access unless you speak fluent Spanish or are willing to take a chance walking around an unknown area late at night.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room first -- !

We stayed here on our first night in Peru. The hotel is basic, and nothing is luxurious or pretty about it. however, being right next to the airport, it is an extremely convenient location. If you are flying out the next day from Lima, this is the place to stay!
