“Machu Picchu Magic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 November 2013

Traveled to Peru a couple of years back and did an amazing trek to Machu Pichu...we did not do the Inca Trail but a little known (unknown?!) route that brought us through amazing vistas and ruins where we never saw other trekkers. Literally no tourists. Only local people traveling from village to village. Our group went through Karina Tello with Munayki Peru. hey customized our trek so that we didnt have a run of the mill experience. We arrived at Macchu Pichu on a spectacular clear day and got there in time to hike Wynah Picchu...It was a special trip taken care of by a special trekking company who took care of every detail effortlessly.

I did a day tour to visit MP with a friend - you will not be disappointed, highly recommended. The views are amazing and the guide we had talked through some of the history which was interesting!

“Channel Inca Energy”

Machu Picchu is a magical place. All words are inadequate to describe what you can touch and feel in this location. You will be equally impressed and puzzled. How did the Inca's do it?
Anyone with a bucket list must add Machu Picchu. Train and bus transportation allows anyone who wants to see it to get there. Although I have it from someone who actually made the five day hike, walking the Inca trail to arrive at Macchu Picchu is truly exciting and worth the physical effort. .
So, if you possibly can, go to Macchu Picchu.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2013

Well worth the delayed flight in Lima, the 31/2hr train and the 25 min bus ride.Arrived with the afternoon crowd, which was a little overwhelming, but returned the next morning at 6 AM and it felt as if we had Machu Picchu to ourselves, we were able to walk at our own pace, and take beautiful pictures without any strangers in the background.
Has to be visited at least once in your life!

“The nicest and the most touching place I have ever seen”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2013

This is the most interesting place I can imagine. Everybody heard about Machu Picchu but when you arrive there you can not believe that it is real. It is difficult to describe it with any words, one has to be there. The best is to arrive there very early in the morning (spend the night in Aquas Calientes) before the other people arrive or at the evening and stay to sleep there, what is of course more expensive but I think it is wortwhile. If you are coming from Cusco the same day there are already many people everywhere around and it takes away part of its charme. And it is also more difficult to take nice pictures.
