I stayed here with my extended family and we all agreed this was a great hotel. The service, amenities, and rooms were great. We had a few glitches with our luggage and LAN Airlines and the hotel reception was extremely helpful with resolving the issue. We also loved the restaurant and had dinner there everynight. This was an exceptional hotel and we would love to stay here again.

This is, no doubt a great little hotel located right at the train station that takes people to Machu Picchu. It also has a great restaurant and the location is beautiful inside. We had an room in the old section that we really liked. Staff was helpful and friendly. Definitively a place to stay on the way to Aguascalientes. We did gave a little problem. Being at the train station, and having a room overlooking the rails we were afraid about noise. This was not a problem but our room was right above the restaurant and we had an annoying noise from loud music that turned out to be just below and played until very late. The place is nice enough for us to forget this and use it again but beware of the room above the restaurant or be ready to go down and ask for the music to stop at a reasonable hour. Overall I would recommend and use it again.

Stayed three nights in Febuary with a group of well traveled friends. We took full advantage of the services and experiences offered by the hotel. I highly recommend the lunch offered at the Inns' organic farm.Be sure to hire Paul and his trusted driver to tour you around the key sites. I particularly liked the town of Olly as a base. We felt safe and secure as we wandered around. The Train never bothered our nights sleep . Waking up to a magnificent view of the snow capped Andes was perfection!

Stayed here one night before trekking 4 days to Machu Picchu. Service was impeccable, location was surreal. Despite light rain, the setting was great. Dinner was delicious and the coffee house was a pleasure. Great attention to detail and excellent pisco sours for happy hour! Highly recommend!

From the booking to check-in to check-out, El Albergue is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly, and always happy to help out. The room was large and clean, and had wonderful views of the valley and the Veronica Glacier. We enjoyed an afternoon tour of their farm with Christian.

In going the extra mile, El Albergue printed out our Machu Picchu tickets, as well as our airline boarding passes for when we had to leave. All in all, I can't recommend this place enough. Go visit!

Room Tip: Room 15 has a beautiful view.
