I was very impressed with this place, it's landscape, and the friendly staff! Breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety of food options. The room however, felt like a campground cabin- it was clean but not as comfy as I was hoping based upon how it looked. But I was super excited to see llamas just outside our window in the morning :)

Beautiful gardens, stunning views, wonderful rooms and excellent service. We were there for 2 nights and wished it had been more. This is a garden of Eden and a wonderful place to escape to after the hectic atmosphere of Ollantautambo. There is a lovely sitting area beside the restaurant and a nice bar above that we took our drinks outside and enjoyed sitting in the grassy area. If you don't like it here you won't like it anywhere.

We stayed at Pakaritampu for one night after visiting nearby sites in the Sacred Valley. The Temple of the Sun is within walking distance, as is the small town market. The PeruRail station is a block away, if you're catching the train to Agua Calientes and Macchu Picchu. But Pakaritampu was worth a visit on it's own. The resort is situated nicely, and has multiple buildings with rooms surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, including several llamas/alpacas, gorgeous views of the surrounding high Andes, including a glacier. We went up to the small bar overlooking the large dining room and enjoyed several drinks while the dining room cleared out a little, then enjoyed a nice meal with friendly service. The room was decorated in interesting local style, and the menu was more than adequate. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to anyone touring in the Sacred Valley of the Incas area.

Hummingbirds. Cuy. Inca terraces. Llamas. Hot Coca tea in the lobby. Computers to use for free. Good salads. This place is pretty - quiet - wonderful, patient--almost motherly--service. The tub had not only a grab bar but a "no skid" mat available. It had clever touches which amused us as well as impressed us as they added service. For example, there was a shoe shine cloth attached to a little post - and nailed to the post was a small child's shoe - so we would notice it and realize the purpose. The only thing I would warn against is the trout salad. Possibly the saltiest thing ever. It is not really a salad the same way chicken salad is not really a salad. The grounds are picture perfect and we enjoyed walking up to the terraces and seeing the llamas. We would like to go back to Ollantaytambo and if we do, we will stay here.

Room Tip: Our room had a view of the Sacred site. No elevator, so might prefer the first floor if your lugg...

I wish we had had more time in Ollantaytambo and in this hotel. The rooms are not luxurious but very comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant and had an excellent meal. We had to leave early the next morning to make at 6:40 am train to Machu Picchu. We had a very nice breakfast with excellent coffee before we left.

Avery beautiful place with great views, the room are comfortable and really good breakfast the location of this place it's close to the train station to Machu Picchu that it's very combining it's important to make rooms reservation on the second flor for the best view to the glacials and the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo

Room Tip: Ask for the Second flor for better views

Lovely room but watch out for nails on the wooden floors of the room. We had two nights in room 30. The staff were not very friendly. The lady who checked us in just went through the motions, the young man the next day was really helpful when we wanted a taxi to go to see the salt flats and Moray. The bar wasn't welcoming, the barman wasn't friendly. The breakfast was OK. No egg station, just average. It was quite a tiring walk up the hill to the town although the station was very close. The gardens were beautiful with humming birds and beautiful flowers, superb views and the gardening staff were really friendly
