We spent three nights, but I feel like I could stay there for three months. Set in a wonderful natural environment, in a valley full of sunlight, at Melissa Wasi, Joyce and Chito make you feel home. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and well organized with very comfortable beds and down duvets. Breakfast is excellent and also the food served at the nearby "Trattoria" restaurant. Only five minutes drive to Pisac center, I would definitely recommend Melissa Wasi to everyone.

The place is settled at a very quite and peaceful valley. The environment and view is beautiful. You get to see mountains surrounding you every morning when you wake up, it's incredible. The hosts, Chito and Joyce are very nice. They make you feel at home. The social environment is lively. You can strike up a conversation with anybody. I will definitely go again to this place and would recommend it to everyone.

I spent a week at Melissa Wasi during a retreat - suffice it to say, I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Pisaq. Melissa Wasi is an extraordinarily peaceful place with beautiful and well-kept gardens. Chito is a gracious host and always there if you have a question or need something. Melissa Wasi has an onsite temple building for meditation and an excellent onsite restaurant (Trattoria) with a menu of both vegetarian and meat-based dishes - the chef used to be the traveling chef with the Rolling Stones, or so I was told! The pumpkin ravioli was out of this world! My room was very clean, I never got cold (down comforters) and there was ample hot water. It's a 5-10 minute walk into Pisaq - which is just right because it makes Melissa Wasi so quiet. Amazing, people!

Melissa Wasi is set in a beautiful eucalyptus grove and garden just a short trail to town, along the Urubamba river. The big house, and the adjacent bungalows, are beautifully built in the "Taos" style of architecture. They are furnished with weavings, rugs, ceramics, and other art objects. The beds have fluffy down comforters, sparkling clean. The breakfast, including eggs and "panqueques", will energize your day. There is a nearby Trattoria for dinner. The amiable host, Don Chito, is helpful, kind, and knowledgeable.

Room Tip: There are bungalows for families or groups.

This place is run by two of the loveliest, chill, caring Peruvians you could meet. Upon our arrival we were taken care of very well. Usually Chito asked us about the things we needed (laundry service, airport transfers) before we had a chance to ask him first. The property itself is very picturesque and tranquil. The restaurant serves incredible food. It's a great place to relax and base oneself while exploring Pisac or the Sacred Valley. Only oddity is that it's very near to an ayahuasca retreat/is the place where many participants of the retreat stay, so be prepared for unusual dinner conversation.

Spent 2 nights here: very comfortable; attentive staff; fire every night for the cool temperatures. Very pretty setting; restaurant across the street is excellent. It is away from the busy town center which is worth exploring.

We only stayed here one night (4 sisters traveling together) but wished we had stayed longer as this is a lovely hotel in a beautiful country setting just outside Pisaq. Very helpful staff, great breakfast and excellent restaurant adjoining the property where we could actually eat the salad (American chef uses organic produce cleaned in purified water). We were there for the Sunday market in Pisaq & it did not disappoint us. This village and Ollantaytambo deserve more of your time in the Sacred Valley.

Room Tip: We stayed across the road next to the restaurant outside the locked gate around the compound. Very s...
