“Best Resort I have ever stayed”

This is an amazing resort. The location is fantastic, everything is tip-top but what is the most remarkable is the staff. They are all great, will always make that extra effort to make you feel good. Haydee, which is working at the front desk is amazing. She has helped us so much with everything such as hooking us up with the transportation and arranging other things. Carlos Valasquez is probably one of the most sincere, funny and professional managers that I've had a pleasure to work with. You ask him and he gets it for you. Always keeps his word. Seriously, if you are looking for an amazing time, look no further. You will definitely feel like in heaven when you are there.

When driving up the dirt road, we were not sure what we got ourselves into, but when the wooden gate opened, WOW!!! What a spectacular property with its greenery, water and even pheasants. We stayed in the old colonial house; the rooms were extremely spacious and well equipped. We could have spent our entire three days enjoying the grounds and the amenities, but our tours of the Sacred Valley were also memorable. The staff was very efficient and friendly. We were there in low season, and there were not a lot of guests, but I am sure with more marketing, the awareness of the property will blossom. It is one of the most beautiful hotel properties we have every seen.

We were in Peru for Christmas vacation and were booked in this resort for a day so we could board the train next day. Absolutely a stunning resort very well managed and great staff. Anything you asked you got not that there was lot to ask. It is in presitne setting amoung mountains and on a big creek, The staff was wonderful. The GM for this place was one of the best GM's we had an early train so we would have missed breakfast so we called the front dest to swap it for dinner and front desk forwarded us to a GM who was attending some function we told him what we needed and without a flitch he approved it and told his executive chef do so. Executive Chef when we talked to him he proposed a and prepared a custom order vegeterian 3 course meal for us we could not even finish. Truly a great experience of exceptional peruvian hospitality. We will definately recommend it to everybody going to Peru to spend sometime there away from conjusted cusco before boarding a train to Macchu Picchu ( only a 30min ride to train station)

The Aranwa was a pleasant suprise to us. We knew that we would be staying in the Sacred Valley, but did not know anything about the hotel. When we arrived we knew we were in for a treat. The staff was great seeing to our every need. The rooms were spacious and very well decorated. The grounds were fun to explore and our wives enjoyed the spa. Dinner was excellent with a very attentative staff.
Would highly reccommend this to anyone.

If you are looking for some days of relax, or some nature experience, this is perfect for a few days. Its very very beautiful. But be aware that they are charging a lot for a baby bed (that have never happend to us before). That was a pity, because its an important detail for familys. They could improve in small details as other clients have commented. The spa is too expensive as well. But if you are going there just to take it easy and enjoy the nature its amazing.

The reviews have this right. The rooms are huge and very deluxe. Great shower and tub. The rooms compare wth any 5 star in Europe or the US. But.... this place is isolated. If you are looking to experience Peru, then go to Urubamba. I know this hotels sells itself as an isolated spa, so if you want to go to Peru and eat in the hotel and get a great message, this is the place. But if you want some nightlife with someone other than the folks in your tourgroup, keep looking.
