While this hotel was very nice overall, what merits special attention is the customer service. Hotel staff (especially restaurant staff) were all extremely well trained and very friendly. Additionally, the environment was beautiful and relaxing. I will agree with an earlier review that the room temperature never really seemed to warm up.

This is truly a resort rather than a hotel. The drive here, and the front gates, were very reminiscent of Jurassic Park. Inside, the place was very clean.
We were there shortly after Easter, and the shops never seemed to be open. Breakfast was quite good, but dinner was easily the most disappointing of our entire trip.
We had adjoining rooms, both of which were very large.

Aranwa is what dreams are made of, it feels like stepping back in time to be there. You will be surrounded by magnificent classic paintings, friendly and knowledgeable staff, in this very tranquil environment. The beautiful church and small river passing through the hacienda are enchanting. It is preferable to spend a week to relax rather than a couple of days only to explore the Valley, as the hotel is quite remote from all Inca ruins, and it takes a long time to reach them by taxi. While the staff in restaurants is extremely helpful, the food is good but not exquisite. Another downside would be the low room temperature, despite the heat system set to maximum.

Room Tip: Ensure that the heating system is working properly, check with staff beforehand.

This place is located in the Urubamba valley. It is a good place to rest and relax. The food is great and i really enjoyed the service from everybody at the place. If you are looking a place to rest and relax this is the place!

We stayed for 2 nights and yes it is in the middle of nowhere. So if you want noise this is not the place for you. But if you like special places and the chance to connect again to the stars and yourself - this place is for you. The people are so nice. The room was very big and the place magical.
