My husband and I just returned from a fabulous trip to Peru where we had the unique opportunity to spend two nights at this wonderful resort. The setting is gorgeous, and the facilities impeccable. Every detail has been received attention, and every turn brings a new vista of the river, mountains, or carefully maintained orchard and grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food ( we took both breakfast and dinners here) was delicious and filling. Aranwa is the perfect setting for your visit to the Sacred Valley.

I stayed here one night before heading to Machu Picchu - although I wish it was longer! The Sacred Valley is so beautiful and this hotel fits in perfectly with its surroundings. The property was once an old colonial hacienda. The owners did an amazing job of preserving the original detail while making the inside of the hotel (especially the rooms) modern and comfortable. The only thing I would say is the property is definitely secluded so eating outside the hotel may be a bit difficult. The food we had for dinner was just ok, but it was definitely fine for one night. I also wish I had more time to use the spa services. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway if you have more time in the area.

Stayed here for 3 nights room - excellent large and very comfortable - breakfast good - we felt attention to detail was lacking in some areas - they woke me up at midnight to sign a bill - water was very expensive $10 for a bottle of Evian !!! - Good bar staff although they kept going to the swimming pool to get water to use behind the bar !!! went out to the local markets with Charles - very interesting -

This lovely resort hotel is located in a lovely settings. The room is great with balcony, and there is a small pool. The gym-what can I say? It looks like no one has used for a while. The equipments are very simple, but there are loads of bugs on the stairs and there are plenty of dust! Don't let this stop you coming here, the ground is beautiful, with animals roaming around, including Alpaca, LLama, and Peacocks. There is also a wellness centre if you don't mind the price! What really stunned me was the price of a bottle of Avion water -- it is US$10, so you know and not mistaken it as the local currency...... The food is good too. There is a formal restaurant, a coffee shop and a bar. The bar has sushi at night. Food are good here. I have no problem of coming back if the water are cheaper!

We stayed at the Aranwa whilst travelling around South America with a tour group. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The rooms were of the colonial era but very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. We would have like to have stayed longer. The staff really do need a mention. We were treated like kings and queens. Each staff member making a great effort to greet us us by name. Very welcoming. Would recommend highly

This hotel is actually a restored and added on to, Hacienda. It was originally built as the residence of a wealth local landowner. Later converted to a resort hotel. The rooms are nice and the grounds are spectacular. An onsite, small church is very photogenic, especially at night. Food in the restaurant was extremely good, as was the service. Numerous other amenities, also. Pool and spa are not normally heated, so in the cooler days, you need to reserve the day before, so they can heat it up. Did not use them for that reason, but they looked very nice.
