The Via Ferrata was challenging, and the Zipline was lots of fun. The BEST--worth all the effort--was spending the night in the Skylodge. Magical! It is an unique experience. Our guide Marco is very professional and knowledgeable. Good food, good wine, and the picnic breakfast on the side of a mountain--definitely a highlight, but come nighttime being mesmerized by the moon glimmering above you--unforgettable!

We did the zip line and climb and it was exciting and amazing. This was THE best part of our visit to Cusco (excluding the inka trail). The team were upbeat and fun. I do think that the safety and equipment explainations could have been better however the guides were very good at getting us out of trouble. Our guides were Cynthia, Daniel and Arnold. Thank you so much guys!!!

Patrick and Caesar were awesome guides! They emphasize safety first and fun as well. We were picked up from our hotel in Cusco. We did the zipline only package and had a blast. The views were fantastic and weather cooperated as well. Lunch was provided and you can buy a CD with pictures taken for about $10. Would recommend to anyone.

It is a greta group of climbers that have put this together. Safety first is there Moto!
They picked us up at our Hotel (Ollantaytambo), and took us 15 minutes on the side of a cliff in the sacred valley.
After our equipment were on we started to climb the mountain, it was a vertical climb but easily made the hour and a half with a stops as we wanted.
They are a great group of climbers. We were 10 climbing and they had 6 guides.
Then the 4 zip lines down were fantastic. I will do it again.
You will have pictures that nobody will have of You above the Sacred Valley!

If you measure the quality of your experiences by the length of time you will remember them, then this is a must do for you.
We were lucky to stay one night on the Sky Lodge Adventure Suites, and it has been one of the best experiences of my life, and with out a doubt, the best one of my trip to Peru.
It is important to say that the staff is always concerned about the safety of their guests, and not once did I feel in any sort of danger.
Since the whole journey consists of a climb using la Via Ferrata, a night sleeping close to the stars on the Sky Lodge Adventure Suites and a descent using the Zip Lines, be prepared for a day and night full of surprises. Since I don't want to ruin the surprise for you, please don't read after the "spoiler" part of this review.
The day starts with a very clear introduction on how to climb, and some safety rules you have to keep in mind. The guides also give you elements of personal protection (harness, helmets and gloves) and after a few minutes you are ready to go. The climb is very exciting, and even though you feel very excited and your body is filled with adrenaline, you are always safely attached to a life line -- kids are able to do it.
Once you reach the Sky Lodge Adventure Suites, you can enjoy the best view of one of the most magical places in the whole world -- the sacred valley of the Urubamba river. Simply unforgettable! Night sets in, and you go to your Adventure Suite -- which has super confortable beds, although you don't want to close your eyes, since you have never seen so many stars in your life. The next morning, you descend using the zip lines. With out a doubt an experience you will never forget.
Now for the spoilers, stop reading if you don't want to ruin some nice surprises :
The most exciting part of the climb is crossing a bridge. You have nothing to worry about, the feeling of self achievement you feel once you cross it is indescribable.
Dinner in the Sky Lodge is magnificent. The guides do an excellent job cooking and serving a delicious meal -- which is quite amazing taking into account you are 400 mts high. This is without a doubt the best meal under the stars I have ever had. The rooms are well equipped, with super confortable beds, cotton linen suited for any fancy hotel. The next morning you have a very nice breakfast, freshly cooked eggs, granola, cheese, variety of hams, etc. Taking into consideration you have an amazing view, I felt, I was having the most amazing breakfast anyone in Peru was having (perhaps the world) that day.
To sum things up, this is an activity I highly recommend; as a matter of fact, I am already talking to some friends so we can return some time in the near future
