“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2012

As we did not have a car, we choose to eat on the hotel grounds. We ate in the dining room one night and at the bar the second night. The soup was delicious. The sandwiches were generous. The fries were out of this world! I would eat those again and again! The cannot compare to anything we have at home.

“Best Lomo Saltado”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 February 2012

We ate all of our meals at Alma - Cocina Viva while staying at the Casa Andina located in the Sacred Valley. Breakfast was served buffet style and there were many choices to choose from, omelets, meats and pastries etc. Dinner was very relaxing. Music was being played from one of the locals. We had great service, beautiful view from the dining room. Earlier in the day they let me make real ice tea that they served me at dinner. below is what we had for dinner the first night and the second night we both had the lomo saltado.

pollito de corral al grill con risotto verde, tomates confitados y hongos del bosque S/.50
poultry chicken grilled and served with basil risotto, mushrooms and confit tomatoes and lomo saltado ahumado al wok, acompañado con arroz y papas S/.42
sautéed tenderloin smoked flavored, accompanied with rice and fried potatoes

“You know you've made the right choice to eat here.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2010

There are many bargains in Peru but I choose to pursue to fine dining when I travel. This beautiful dining room with floor to ceiling exterior glass walls provides a beautiful view from any seat in the house. The authentic Andean bread is brought out early and warm from oven. Our waiter, Eloy Papel, provided attentive, and casual service. The alpaca appetizer was excellent, and so was the stir fry beef I had as an entree. Their pasta may have been simple but left you wanting more, in spite of the ample portion. The spectacular finish is the chocolate tort, warm with vanilla ice-cream.
This restaurant is part of the Casa-Andian Private Collection Valle Sagrado, and the landscaping reflect the Inca Terrace look and feel. Throughout the dinner we were delightfully entertained by an Andean musician who played multiple native flute instruments and percussian devices. After 1 hr 45 m dinner we left quite content.
