My husband and I stayed here and wished we could have spent more time. It was beautiful and so relaxing. There was nothing here I would change.

This hotel is set in lush gardens, so if you are a birder, stay here. It is quiet because there are individual round cabins that are plushly appointed with beautiful bathrooms.

The food is fabulous and there is free internet.

The beds are comfortable and you can sit out on your porch and admire the stunning setting.

We could only stay for two nights - we would have loved to have stayed longer. Beautiful gardens with hummingbirds, lovely lodges and a great restaurant. A great place in the Sacred Valley.

We absolutely loved staying here. First and foremost, the grounds are stunning. We loved just strolling around admiring the beautiful flowers and huge variety of plant species, complete with humming birds. Secondly, are room/bungalow was so comfortable. I loved that this was so much more than a hotel room, it was our only little bungalow complete with our own front porch and patio furniture, which we sat out on quite a bit and admired the beauty of the grounds, read our books and enjoyed room service outside. No loud noises of anyone walking over your head or bumping against the wall next door. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was beautiful. A great coat/jacket area with hooks and shoe shelf was a nice perk, giving you a place to stow your boots, hats, jackets etc. Thirdly, the staff was exceptional. We really were treated so well by the staff, they were a huge help to us in planning our transport to Machu Picchu and dealing with the train company. The restaurant was also fabulous and the bar. We loved our bartender/waiter, Delfur, who was so accomadating and friendly to talk to. He made a delightful Pisco Sour! The food was outstanding and we chose to only eat here during our stay in the valley. For lunch and dinner, the meals were so flavorful and had such beautiful presentations. We loved the alpaca here. I really cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this place. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the valley. Oh, and how nice to have the travel/adventure company on site to plan all sorts of activities. We chose a full day hike starting in Moray and through the salt mines, this hike was wonderful. Our guide Rolf-was fantastic, very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We spent 9 days in Peru and this was truly one of the top highlights, staying at Sol Y Luna and hiking through the Sacred Valley with Rolf.

This is the second time I've had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Sol y Luna and I truly enjoyed it both times. The setting, atmosphere, service and friendly staff make it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Sacred Valley....and the food is great too!

not the first time staying there, and certainly it would not be the last. The Sacred Valley is one of my spots for vacations.

We went to the Sacred Valley in search of comfort. We received that and much more, privileged views, beautiful gardens, great food (you must request the private "maridaje" diner in the wine celar), awesome massages and spa and in general very good service. Yoga in the morning, horseback riding in the afternoon, massages at sundown and exeplary peruvian gourmet food at night. Unbeatable!
Oh yes, and the hotel could be cleaner or better kept if you tried.
