The Wayra Ranch offers a family-style lunch in an outdoor shelter with a view of an exciting program of Paso horses and riders. It's a lovely place to stop and the food is absolutely delicious. The trout, caught locally & prepared on the grill, is possibly the best I've tasted anywhere.
The Ranch appears to cater to tour groups, however if you are on your own and in the vicinity I recommend you visit.

We stopped for lunch at the Wayra with our tour group. We sat on a covered patio where we could watch the chef prepare our food! We were served course after course of Peruvian delites! Delicious! We were treated to Paso horse show after lunch!

We were staying next door at the Sol & Luna Lodge (and so called) Spa. The Hotel suggested this restaurant so later we went off in the direction they indicated and got lost. Upon arriving the Wayra waiter said we had to confirm our reservation at the Hotel. He couldn't even tell us the price of the buffet. The Hotel had to tell us. There was no tel service so we hiked back to the hotel to now confirm our reservation. By the time we arrived we were informed that it was too late to serve us.
We did not eat but the idyllic setting we thought the service terrible. I guess if you are always selling to groups you do not know what to do when a real person shows up. We ended up eating in town at the Qanela Restaurante which was delicious and extremely reasonable. The Wayra beverage prices seemed like gouging.

We stopped for lunch with our guide at Wayra and were delighted to have a sampling of just about everything the Sacred Valley had to offer. Course after course just kept coming. We sat outside on a patio overlooking a large grassy area. After lunch we were treated to a horse and dancing display. Everything was perfect!
