I don't have much to say that others haven't already. We stayed for 3 nights during an 8 day trip to Peru. We ate in the restaurant 2 out of the 3 days- which was fantastic. Great wine list and fresh vegetables from the hotel's garden. We did a hydro-circuit that was unlike any other- and the spa itself is absolutely beautiful. We are Starwood Platinum and were upgraded to a junior suite that was so spacious, so well appointed and absolutely gorgeous. The last day we were there we travelled to Aguas Calientes and Macchu Pichu and enjoyed every minute of it. The thing that really sets this hotel apart is the service- they go above and beyoned to assist you with anything you need. Overall - an absolutely fantastic stay. The only thing I would suggest is that the pool is heated or that they add a hot tub at the main pool. It was a bit cold to go swimming in the standard pool.

I would like thank all the Tambo del Inka staff for the wonderful days we spent at this hotel. My husband and I have lived in 7 different countries and visited more than 20 but nothing compares to this hotel. You should try the spa treatments with Jessica and Edith, they are amazing. The hotel itself is a complete experience. It is spetacular. Perfect.

As a SPG Platinum Member I have no bad things to say about this hotel. The hotel staff is extremely courteous and makes you feel welcome and special. They bend over backward to meet your needs. The upgraded suite is brand new, spaceous, and spotless. Very nice endless indoor/outdoor connected pool. Didn't use their spa but the locker room shower and sauner facilities were very clean, fresh, and top-notch. Traveled with my family and my teenagers were very impressed. Food was good but little pricey. Flew to Cuzco with hotel pickup and the hotel is a little over an hour away in the Sacred Valley. Spent 2 days in the area taking it easy to acclimatize. Hopped on the PeruRail to Aguas Calientes (train station is a 3 min walk from the hotel on hotel property - so cool) to visit Machu Picchu. Stayed overnight at AC then return to Tambo for 1 night before taking a flight from Cuzco back to Lima. This is one of the best trips we had and thank you to the staff members of Tambo for making lasting memories for us! Thanks to Manager Issac, Erika, and Gian Carlo...just to name a few.

My daughter is in Peru for 4 months as a requirement for her grad school degree. So she travelled with my wife and i. We spent 3 glorious nights at the Tambo del Inka Hotel. It is an incredible property, with great service, spacious rooms, a wonderful restaurant and a most accommodating staff. We wished we could have stayed longer, and planned our trip to Machu Picchu from here rather than Cusco.

Great service. Clean and inviting rooms. Comfy bed and bathroom. Did not care for the bidet in the bathroom. Food in peru is terrible including at this hotel.

I stayed at the Tambo del Inka with my spouse and extended family on a trip to Peru. The hotel is amazing and set in a gorgeous mountain location. The hotel is modern and extremely comfortable, while giving the feeling of being in a remote sanctuary - truly incredible with outstanding attention to every minute detail. The food is fantastic and the staff will do anything to make sure the guest is comfortable and happy.

I saw the hotel was rated as one of the most relaxing hotels in the world on TripAdvisor, and it is absolutely true. There is no better place to stay on your trip to Machu Piccu.

This is not just a hotel, it is an experience. From the moment you walk in the stay is incredible!! The people who work there are an exceptional selected group who want your stay to be the best possible. From the greeting at the front door, to the fantastic concierges, and carried to the bar and dinning crew. All are great at what they do and they all speak English which helps those of us who need it. The rooms are large & spotless and very roomy with lots of specal features. The spa is unreal. My only sorrow was having to leave after 3 nights. We did have a problem with Peru-rail from the resort, but to no fault of the staff at this resort. I highly recommend this location too. The town is fun to explore and very safe without many tourist.
