Not exactly complicated, just done very well. The fish tasted fresh and the oil & herb was a just right accompaniment. The steak was flavorful, and the wine reduction sauce added just the right counterpoint. A little bit price, maybe 20% higher than other similar restaurants, but a much prettier restaurant with more panache, and still well below US prices for similar food.

A wonderful choice for a romantic dinner. Not fussy or precious, but quietly friendly service and wonderful (and fast!) food. We chose the prix fixe dinner with a main and dessert, good value for the quality of food. If we had been more hungry, the three-course option is even more economical. The fish (a la plancha) was one of the best fish dishes we have ever eaten in any country. We really enjoyed the excellent Uruguayan Malbec as well.

I arrived early and the place was empty. I ordered a shrimp, medium size, which tasted good...but they did not take the "booboo" out...I also ordered a foie gras, which I liked very much even through the egg that came together was a bit cold. Service was great!

Warm ambiance, nice service, and outstanding food. We never went for dinner (too pricey), but went several times for lunch. The prix fixe includes bread, appetizer, main, and mineral water -- a very good deal considering the high quality. The octopus appetizer was the single best bite of food I had in Montevideo. Nice location in Ciudad Vieja.

An excellent choice for dinner. We tried a starter and two main dishes, and all were rather excellent.

Couvert is expensive, at 90 Pesos.

On the day we visited, a Thursday, the restaurant only opened at 8pm, which made us think, at 7:30, as no opening times were posted, that the restaurant was closed.
