Nice to walk, jogging, rest, and view of the rambla. Great beaches through the walk, can also have a good rest watching people go by.
There is also a good restaurant if you just want to seat back and have a good meal.

A sidewalk by the river. Wide in some parts, narrow in other. Missing tiles in some parts, broken bottle glass every now and then, as well as dog poo. Certain stretches have bike paths nobody respects. Certain spots tend to gather crowds. The Rambla and Av. Brasil, the Rambla in front of the Rodó Park, etc. A nice stroll during the summer, especially during the evening. Rather empty during the winter months. No public bathrooms except in summer.

There is nothing more inviting than a run on the Rambla in the early morning. Enjoy the fisherman drinking their mate and take in the sights.

Very safe!!!

Amazing views, great for a bike ride or a run.
Perfect for sightseeing.
Beaches and local spots are worth the walk. Dont miss having a mate by the shore, its really cool.

Enjoy a walk to a beach near the park on this wide walkway as you pass locals enjoying their yerba mate tea while taking in the ocean view. We walked from our cruise ship through the city and down to the rambla, laid on the sandy beach before having lunch near the park which edges the rambla.
