This place has everything. The setting, the ambiance, the service, the food. All top rate. Their seafood platter for 2 is the best thing I've ever eaten, anywhere! plus it would probably feed 3 rather than 2!

We visited Tamarind with our 6yr old daughter who was on her best behaviour. Fantastic dinner was up there with any great restaurant in NZ or Australia. The tuna was amazing. Service excellent. We went at Easter and if they had been open the next night we would have gone again!

We were advised to seek out a meal at this venue and we were so pleased we did. Check on opening nights as it is not always available. This is an old colonial house situated by the sea that has been converted into a very attractive restaurant .
The service, food, location and atmosphere was excellent. Possibly the only fine dining on the Island.

I had a shared seafood platter, was lovely and fresh without too much fried food. Other people had the steak and daughter said it was her best ever. Drinks and meals very reasonable for the standard
