Last minute decision on somewhere to dine for dinner. Arrived at restaurant , friendly greeting and asked if they could do four with no booking. No problem. Our friends arrived, the boys decided on the Seafood Platter for two. We are platter experts, this was one of the better ones we have had.
Some standard, but some very different dishes for a seafood platter, but well worth it. The girls had the chicken curry, and the Tina salad, both very good.
Service spot on, but unobtrusive , and the best part, the bill was very reasonable for the standard of dining, highly recommended!

This place was recommended by a friend in the restaurant industry. She'd been there for dinner a few years ago and still remembers the meal. We were quite disappointed with the evening.

I had the chicken coconut curry with totally inappropriate plating for a 'fine dining' restaurant - no taste of coconut, no flavour, no life! My friend had the Wahoo Wellington and it was a large meal and she loved the pastry and the sauce but not a lot of flavour from the fish. I had the Crème Brulee for pudding - nice texture but not a lot of flavour. My friend had the Sticky Lime and she enjoyed it.

There was however a great view and we got to see the sunset.

“Great Setting, food just”

Magnificent setting, but the food was just ok. If you are going for dinner make sure you get there 30 minutes from sunset so you can enjoy the view.

“Stunning location and food”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

The location and atmosphere were amazing - we had booked for dinner for 4 of us and the service and attention to detail was fantastic. Many cocktails later our food arrived - vegetable lasagna, oxtail and the seafood platter (serves 2). Beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful - no complaints at all. I would highly recommend and we plan to go again although for lunch next time so we can appreciate the views.
