I stayed here for two nights in July for a wedding, as nice as the property was, I think I had my expectations too high after the property we had just left.
We arrived at the resort at about 12pm and was told our room wasn't ready (fair enough due to check in time being 2ish) so we went down and had lunch to pass some time. Nice enough food but nothing to rave about.
We went back up to reception at about 2 and was told our room still wasn't ready, so we had to wait around again for about another half hour to forty five minutes in the cafe section, no one came to tell us it when it was ready, we had to keep checking.
Room was not what I was expecting, it has an essence of Club Med about it. Bathroom wasn't very luxurious, and sound proofing was an issue (very hard not to hear the person you are sharing with use the toilet!).
I believe we booked a deluxe ocean view room, there wasn't much of an ocean view but it was also very cold and miserable so not alot of time was spent on balcony so not a big deal.
Was woken up both mornings ridiculously early by the gentleman at the front gate yelling Bula to everyone that comes into the resort. Yes, I get its being friendly, but some consideration may be needed for guests staying close to this area, he is very loud.
First night we didn't get our canapes/champange as we were told on check in, my friend called and was told they would be around shortly, they never showed.
That night we had room service for dinner, couldn't fault it. Beautiful pizza and my friend said it was one of the best butter chickens she has had.
Resort was quite large and obviously alot of people (and families) congregate around the pool area.
We spent majority of our time on the beach on the lounge chairs, as everyone else has stated, not much of a beach, but it is called Coral Coast.
For lunch we had a quick bite at Sundowner Bar, food was nice enough.
That night we had the wedding and the chapel was gorgeous. Unfortunately it turned rather nasty during the afternoon so it was quite dark and miserable but the view was still amazing. Dinner that night was at the wedding, and due to the weather is was changed from outside to inside. Food was nice and service was good.
As others mentioned, it is a fair distance from the airport.
The property was nice enough but I won't be going back here.
