This has been my best holiday ever, and that is saying something. Beachfront Villa you open the doors and looking just at the Ocean so beautiful. Great deck to have morning Cuppa and relax. All staff fantastic especially Mare in Restaurant Marllee with Activities around pool, made us laugh every day. Very clean rooms, best beds ever, Good food, make friends very easy here. massages go outside resort and look right and walk 100m right and little shack at end of road overlooking ocean $50 for one hour of total luxury, went twice so good. Pool bit outdated but saying that stayed in it every day for hours, so good. Hope to be back.Thank you Fiji Hideway for perfect Holiday.Had all inclusive package was worth it. Vanaka Julie Marshall

Room Tip: Beachfront Villa are larger and you can have extra bed if needed.

My husband and I have just returned from 1 week at Hideaway Resort and we had the best time ever. All the staff are gorgeous, very friendly and extremely efficient. There were activities such as Pool Aerobics and Pool Volley Ball run by the Fijian staff and they make it so much fun.
The Ocean Front Bure we stayed in was great, the bed was so comfy, and the room was air conditioned and really dark - if you want to sleep in. The food was really nice, we went over to the pizza/pasta bar and had the nicest pizza. There is entertainment every night which was so good. If you want a nice affordable massage go out the front of resort and turn right and walk up the road 5 mins and you will come to a little cute hut, a 1hr massage is only $50 and it is to die for, you lie there with the ocean breeze and hear the waves crashing on the shore. We caught the local bus and went to Sigatoga which is pretty average then on the way back we got off at the Eco Park which was so good, it had really green geckos that you can hold and heaps of bird life and beautiful gardens, we then walked across the road to the Outrigger Resort and got the free Golf Buggy ride to the top of the hill to a lovely Bure which overlooked the Coral Coast and had a drink in the bar, we then walked back across the road and caught the local bus back to the resort. We went to the Tagaqe village just up the road from Resort on Sunday and saw the little children sing at Sunday School and we also heard all the locals sing, it was beautiful.
When you arrive in Nadi catch the express local coach outside the Departure Building to the Hideaway Resort it costs $8 pp compared to $120 in a Taxi and doesn't take much longer than a Taxi, the coach is air conditioned and they even show a video.
If you are looking for an authentic, affordable Fijian holiday Hideaway Resort is for you.

Located on the sandy shores of the Coral Coast, an hour and a half's drive from Nadi Airport, the warm Fijian 'Bula' welcome - with the widest smiles possible - indicated that this was to be a holiday to remember.

Whilst showing some signs of tiredness this resort, apparently the only totally Fijian owned and managed resort on the Coast, more than compensated by the enthusiasm and willingness of both management and staff to 'go out of their way' to help, producing an ideal venue for either marriages (there were thee whilst we were there), families or couples.

Room Tip: Opt for a superior ocean view bure for the best views of thhe lagoon

Just back from a 7 night stay with my husband and 2 friends. We had 2 ocean view rooms which were right on the beach front - lovely and clean. We also had the all inclusive package which is definitely the way to go - beautiful meals and heaps of choices. All staff were friendly and helpful. You would have to be a really fussy sort of person to find fault with this place.
I recommend taking some pencils/exercise books/ stationary etc... and visiting the village school - they need all the help they can get and are very appreciative. Also - don't spend every day at the pool - we have them in Australia. The coral reef was AMAZING and yet so few of the guests see it. Take your own snorkel gear (ours was $30 from ALDI) and get out among the fish. We are already planning a return trip - this time with our teenagers.

I stayed at the hideaway with my two children 12 and 13 and we had a wonderful experience from the second we got off the transfer bus . welcomed with a huge Bula ( hello ) and given a welcome drink and escorted to our clean and spacious room. We stayed for 7 nights and didn't want to leave . The food was of excellent standard and the bar churned out beautiful cocktails even serving us around the pool area. The nightly entertainment was fun along with happy hour games. My only advice would be to take time to speak with the staff as they all have their own stories to tell about their villages and in doing this we have made a few lifelong friends . Going in March, the days were muggy but jump in the pool every so often and you will survive. Make sure you walk past Rosies tour shop thru to the arcade and say a big BULA to my new friends Emma Linny and Sai ( the wood carver ) they will welcome you with open arms. Thankyou to all the staff , too many beautiful hearts to name . VINAKA from my children and myself :) P.S The pillows were very high and gave me a sore neck , so I will be taking my own next time .

Room Tip: We stayed in 72 - 1st bure close to the bar/resturant. You could just hear the disco at night but it...

The Staff at the resort were flawless however the standout was definitely Marley. He was awesome when it came to the activities and always managed to keep a smile on everyone's face.

I was disappointed with the food and the cost of the food. The selection was quite gross with most foods lacking flavour as well as hitting the spot in terms for being enough. I also with a few others managed to get a nice little taste of food poisoning on the last night with sever stomach cramps, vomiting and the runs. I would love to think that it was just a case of gastro however this wouldn't be the case unless coincidental to happen to those that had it and had the same meal the night before (Mongolian bbq)

All in all in honeymoon was great and the accommodation was ok. The view really does save this place!
