Limited options in central Papeete. Nothing really wrong about this one. Located a block past end of commercial area, across street from bank, retail children's store, club for ex-militars -- this is hardly an industrial area. Understandable that people could misapprehend as in this town, buildings frequently sheathed in sheet metal. Rooms are very spacious, comfortably furnished, new and well-constructed. Despite our very low tolerance for street noise, we weren't bothered here and slept well. Good internet free in room. Restaurant is breakfast only. Hotel accommodates best they can with later checkouts, although the Sarah Nui is often full. Staff was responsive and professional, although night people were sometimes outside smoking or sprawled out on the lobby furniture, if that matters.

clean hotel and pleasant staff, but we had no hot water in shower. We stayed here 3 days, on the third day we were allowed to shower in adjacent room. In light of this inconvenience I asked for an adjustment on my bill. They promised to refund $70 can. but this never happened. After several emails and a phone call, they again promised to refund the $70 but is has been several months and still nothing has happened. If you are ok with no shower this would be a nice place to stay for a short time as it is close to the ferry and ship terminal.

Great hotel, the room was clean and pleasant, as well as all the other hotel facilities. Wifi worked perfect!! Great location - only few minutes away from the ferry and city center so it was very convenient. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. I truly recommend this hotel!

This is a small, new boutique hotel with very friendly staff. It is located within walking distance of the Princess ship pier and ferry terminal. We stayed 3 extra nights in Papeete after our cruise and the total cost was only $417.33, which included two queen beds and a lovely breakfast each morning. We were not charged anything additional to stay the last day for late checkout since our flight did not leave until 11:30 PM. Several restaurants were within walking distance. Nice umbrellas were provided for guests to use. We booked this reservation through Expedia and had no problems. It is very close to the food trucks and we felt safe walking back and forth at night, but people we met who lived in Papeete said a taxi is better at night.

Room Tip: Ask for upper floors for a better view and less street noise

What an odd place.

We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon so that might explain the 'receptionist's' casual attitude.

The hotel itself is just out the other side of the main part of town. It looks onto warehouses, factories and a drainage canal. We booked a deluxe room and after a few minutes in the room we were given I realised that it wasn't right.

Back down to reception and the receptionist confirmed that it was only a standard room even though the booking was for a deluxe. Why did we want to move? Aren't you only staying one night? Yes we are but we paid for deluxe. Begrudgingly he took us across the hall to a deluxe. Much bigger, just as ghastly view. Considering that the hotel seemed near empty a higher room giving us a view instead of one that gave the warehouses workers a view of us would have been better.

The room - bizarre. It was like a Lego kit that had been put together wrong. At least for 220, the website and brochure pictures don't match what has been put together in that room. Best of all was the shower. A rain shower head that fell apart and a handheld shower head that didn't stay in its bracket. Add to that the single shower door and water went everywhere.

Lots of noise outside from very early but luckily we are early risers. Nice continental breakfast. The lady on reception in the morning was lovely.

It's a work in progress that needs a lot more work. In hindsight we should have chosen Tiara Tahiti as we could have walked to the cruise ship.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on level 3 or above, especially if you have booked a deluxe, otherwise you'll be...

This hotel is in an industrial area, but walking close to the ferry terminal. The hotel is clean and staff is very helpful. We (my wife and I) felt safe walking to and from it in the late night hours, though some have expressed concerns about the location.

We walked from the hotel to the food trucks on a Saturday night, and had a great meal and pleasant Tahitian evening.

Hotel staff is great!

Very good location, just 5 minutes walk from ferry terminal, easy to reach and short distance from the main city attractions, and speady WI-FI, but it was not always very stable. But be aware that the rest of given description may not apply to each room. No Ipod dock, bed double but very narrow, even sometimes no hot water in the shower. Noise outside. We stayed twice there, happily for a really short time, among longer trips via islands. The staff is friendly, speaks English and takes care about taxi or other things. So this place only recommended for a short stop in transit.
