The Dajti mountain is as the numerous mountains around the cities and capitals, which are evaluated and attractive areas for all people. When you go there, you van feel and taste the alabanian peace of cuisine, tradition and fresh air. It is very frequented during the summer and winter. But, the elevator helps a lot to achieve the top of Dajti area for short time

Take the bus from near Skanderbeg Square and it's a short walk to the Dajti Ekspres cable car. A 20 minute journey over verdant hillside, valleys and a lake, takes you near the summit of Mount Dajti. There are wonderful views back west to the sprawling city of Tirana. The Albanian capital gets poor ratings for beauty. I think this is unfair: there is plenty to like here. The views over the hazy city in the early evening sunshine will remain with me. There is a café at the top and viewing spots, but not much to detain you. It's all about the journey and those views.

This is a nice place for lunch and a walk around with a good view. Let's face it: There isn't all that much to see/do in Tirana. The cable car ride is a nice way to spend an hour or so and it is located near the BunkArt attraction. It just makes sense to take the ride, catch the view and then go to the BunkArt monument nearby.

Worthwhile to get a beautiful view of the city. If you are anywhere near Skanderbeg Square take the Porcelani bus, fare approximately 100 lec, to the end of the line which is very near the Cable Car rather than a cab. The Cable Car has some steep rises and falls and is an enjoyable ride. There is a restaurant at the top with outside seating. You can watch paragliders, take a short horse ride, shoot pellet guns for prizes but you cannot go hiking. There is only one very short trail. Other trails are not marked and they are overgrown with plants with leaves that irritate your skin (a burning sensation for several hours). Worthwhile on a nice day to sit outside an enjoy the view.
