This is rated 4 star by the hotel, but then 3 star on booking.com. This is more like a 2-star. Rooms are tiny, with zero useful furniture, beds and pillows uncomfortable. As with many hotels in the Balkans, owners insist on stone floors which enables you to hear every footstep and every sound at twice the volume. speaking of volume, you can hear EVERYTHING through walls, including the staff two floors down. Although I am not too bothered, there is a mosque next door which will call to pray five times a day, although i have to say that that was the most preferred mega sound i experienced during my one night. There was one hanger that looked children size and quite sad in the wardrobe. The hotel provides you rags for towels, with big holes in them. Gross. There was hair in the toilet bowl when I check in. I usually stay elsewhere in Sarajevo, but the hotels were filling up fast that week. Fortunately, I had to leave on the whim, but I would have checked out anyway and sought other accommodation. No lift either. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because the staff was very kind and location was great.
