I don’t normally stay in hostels, but as I was travelling alone thought it was a good choice. Hostel City Center was an excellent. The fact you can't wear your shoes inside means it's very clean. The hotel also provides a great little breakfast and free internet. I also really liked the staff, helpful and very dry - some people won't get them, but I liked them!
Dorms are a little small, but lockers are provided and they are quite. Plus the staff ensure people are quite after 11 which is helpful, especially when you have an early start.

How to fly into a rage:
Don't believe in the "facilities" list of all the websites where you can read "parking on street": along the hostel's street there are only 4 parking places , absolutely not private and always busy. I was so angry for that. Now in the official hostel website you can just read that you can use the parking garage of Hotel Europe, paying 13,00 EURO per day (now they are honest, at least).
Bad points: few bathrooms (always busy, of course), terrible feet smell and pretty dirty private rooms and bathrooms (it's better not forcing someone to take the shoes off, if you don't ask him for washing his feet and if you don't like washing the floor), breakfast pretty poor
Good points: central position, big living room (with many laptops with free internet access, wireless, tv, dvd reader,PS3, and also a guitar), free use of the kitchen, 24 hours reception.

This hostel is very clean, fairly quiet, and well-located. The staff is excellent, and very friendly.

I stayed in a single room, which was quite nice, and cost 20 Euros. I moved from a guesthouse in the Bascarsija district, because the Bascarsija is REALLY noisy at night with pounding music and screaming people. So if a place in a quiet location is qhat you want, I recommend this hostel.

This is an excellent hostel, and the staff are fab. It is family run, and the man who owns it was there on the street to greet us, and was actually waiting for us. They were extremely helpful and organised a hostel and trains for us. The hostel is really nicely decorated and could not be closer to the center. Comfortable and clean hostel rooms. Cannot think of any complaints.

Great base of operation to explore Sarajevo, as you are within walking distance of basically every sight you'll want to visit. Plus, you are close to all the shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. The hostel has a very good vibe, with two big common areas which makes it easy to meet other travelers. The bathroom near the kitchen could use a make-over, but other than that everything was cool!
