It's a modern structure on the outside. As one enters through the doors one gets to an immensely busy lobby with the seating area and an array of shops. The dining area too is rather sparse. However as one gets to the rooms a different scene takes over. The corridors and steps are heavily carpeted and the rooms overflow with heavy furniture. Our room at least had way too much, so much so that navigating around it was quite an experience. The furniture is old world, and the furnishings stately that could do with a bit of overhauling. However all in all a comfortable place to stay in.
Just outside the hotel are the remnants of an old structure. Also the hotel is conveniently located. It's a couple of minutes walk to the old town and the historical sights.More
