This is a decent hotel. Like all hotels and restaurants, there is no such thing as non-smoking in this City. The rooms smell of cigarette smoke that has been deodorized. The beds are decent. The location is great. The food is average. The staff at the desk are nice and helpful, however dining room staff do not seem to have any time for guests.

Location is great for walking right into the bazaars and cafes and restaurants. The room was very big and the bathroom was cavernous, but everything is old and obviously from a different era. The room was dark, even with all the lights on. Breakfast was included and it was OK. The shower was hard to open, it was complicated! They had a set of instructions attached, but it still took some effort — had to reach out to my husband!

This hotel was but def more like a 3 star and not 5 stars by far . Which i already had expected since i had read the reviews before i booked it .. i booked it anyways considering the location was great and it had a pool . We stayed in the “modern” style room which in my opinion was definitely not modern with an annoying orange color carpet everywhere. The room was tiny and dark as so was the bathroom .. The hallways were also very dark. The room did have an amazing view tho from the window to the old town and the historic wall. Also you were right in the center of old town so easily walkable to all the sites.. this hotel could just be so much better if they would only renovate it and bring it into this century.. all in all it was tolerable for the one night we stayed there but i would not come here again.. I should have known given the reviews but thought i would give it a shot. The tv was also very old and small .. i think you are probably better off in the rooms which were the classic style since either way the room is not modern ...and you would not have the annoying orange carpet and weird wooded tiger walls going on. Its really a shame because this hotel has so much potential to be much better. I should have booked a newly built smaller hotel which they seem to be popping up all over the city .. the breakfast was ok they had a decent amount of choices but none of it seemed super fresh .. the hotel in general was not terrible but lots of room for improvement.. regardless of the hotel sarajevo is an amazing city and so is the whole country of bosnia.. we will definitely cole back to bosnia .

So terrible hotel. I booked a suite and when I arrived they told they had no information about my booking. Then the gave me a standard room claiming that what I booked and couldn’t win with the stubborn receptionist. Anyway in the morning as I decided to check out, another receptionist apologized that they gave me the wrong room!!

Definitely not a 5 star establishment.
The bathroom was not maintained which resulted at stains and mould.
The staff was not accommodating and borderline rude.
The breakfast was simply terrible and suitable to a 2 star hotel at best.
Parking is not free (unlike all 5 star hotels I've personally been).
The decoration is not thought through with a lot of furniture being cheap and plastic.
Extremely overrated and an unpleasant place to stay.
