“Quirky and worth a couple of hours of your time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 November 2013

Great lunch here earlier on in the week. Very atmospheric rooms - small, done out for the benefit of tourists but it worked very well. Menu was a range of local staples and everything we had was lovely. Lonely Planet are a bit sniffy about the additional cost of the bread. Ignore them - it was fantastic and if I ever make it to The Great British Bake-off this would be what I'd make.

Service was quick and friendly - we enjoyed it so much we broke the rule and went back again in the evening. No tables available which probably tells you as much as I can about how good this place is.

“One of the best restaurants in Sarajevo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013

This restaurant is a little bit more expensive compared with other places where you can eat in Sarajevo. However, if you travel a lot and you are used to pay up to 20 euro or so for a meal and wine it won't be such a huge problem.
Dveri is a superb restaurant: clean, very cozy, tastefully decorated, nice music in the background. Like in all the good restaurants, the menu isn't very generous, but the food is amazing. The house wine is also very good. If you travel to Sarajevo off season it won't be too hard to find a table during the week, but if you plan to go there in the weekend it would be a good idea to make a reservation first (it's a very small restaurant, with only nine tables).

“Incredible food in a nice atmosphere”

The group of four young men I was with all thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I particularly loved the home-made bread and the dark beer on-tap!

“Good food is tasty food!”

Food at Dveri is really special. Try goulash, it's great! House wine is also good although it is a bit overpriced. Ajvar and home made bread are amazing! Coffee must be accompanied by visne (sour cherry) liquor.

“Lovely Food Friendly Host Interesting Decor”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013

Just had dinner at Dveri in Sarajevo. Found it on Tripadvisor this afternoon and was not disappointed. Very intimate restaurant, reasonable menu, nice feeling to the place, not expensive, good for travellers and locals. Food being served around looked plentiful, all freshly cooked in a little kitchen. Our chicken curries were quite lovely. Husband gluten free, no ill effects.
