Unfortunately following a skiing accident, our travel insurance company put us here for the night. It is not really that close to the airport! We travelled by taxi (about £12 / 20 Leva) to some dodgy back streets off the duel carriage way to be met by a cross lady who was waiting for us as she was the only English speaking member of staff. They made us pay cash up front (140 Leva) and then took us up to our mismatched room which stank of smoke even though it was a no smoking room. There was no where near by to eat - not even any shops! The only bonus was a big telly with English channels - not being able to walk, this was my only entertainment option! The 'hotel' also had a lift which was also welcoming! But that was the only welcoming thing!
